Dear Michael,

Whenever it takes to see you again
It doesn’t matter to me
I hope that you’re safe now
And that knowledge will set me free

Take lots of time to heal
And know that you are not alone
As always time will learn and yet I can’t wait
To see you again and feel the joy in every bone

P.S. as you can read I'm not a poet, far from it actually, but sometimes I get inspired and it's nice to write my feelings down in some sort of poem or something

I hope Michael knows how much we want him back...in fact it's not accurate to say we want him back.
I think all we want is to have certainty he is alive and well and happy. This is what we want.

I agree with you that in general it's not a good thing to ask Michael to come back, that's pretty selfish, specially from a person who loves him. I'd be very happy to know that he's safe and happy, much less important is to see him again. It's just a personal expression of feelings wrapped in a poem.The thing with poems and lyrics is that the interpretation depends on the reader's personal perspective and feelings, which defines the emphasis individually.
Sometimes a get so much inspired, mostly caused by strong emotions, I start to write or to paint. It helps to clear up my mind.

Dear Michael, your sudden dissapearance seemed so cruel that many of us can't get over it after 2 years.
The reasons of why we miss you so much is what I want to understand.

Maybe because we feel guilty of taking you for granted before?
Maybe because we've discovered too late how much you meant for us?
Your dissapearance left behind a huge emptiness ...nothing can fill it.

I wish someone could tell for sure that you are OK.
If you would only be happy where you are now...
