Chris Brown Honours Michael Jackson In ‘She Ain’t You’ Video![]()
Chris Brown has finally worked out how to resurrect a music career that went into a spectacular downward spiral after the Rhianna ‘incident’ – keep your hands to yourself, stop apologising and do what you do best – sing and dance.
Brown’s latest release She Ain’t You is a tribute to his long-time musical idol Michael Jackson. The song samples Human Nature from Jackson’s Thriller album, but Brown makes it his own adding some great hip-hop beats.
Brown’s style as a singer and dancer has been heavily influenced by Jackson and he is generous in giving credit where credit is due, most recently at last summer’s BET Awards.
The accompanying video also pays homage to the King of Pop. It opens with a message to Jackson: “Dedicated to my biggest inspiration of all time… I Love You.”
The video features Brown wearing a Jackson-esque fedora and more than a few dance moves from Jackson’s repertoire. But there are still enough original elements for Brown to own it.
