I am not sure whether I have understand you correct.

We have heard we are the world at the memorial and if we understand  the memorial  as a part of this is it comeback you have it there. In the movie I donĀ“t remember if the song has been performed there I only remember Heal the world. I have to watch the film once again.

And I have never seen MJ performing this is it (except oh his announcement  ;) ), but the song is of course a part ot the movie.

I do not know how michael meant it when he says: I will perform the songs my fans want to hear. It is so confusing everything!!!!

I truly believe MJ had nothing to do with the song "this is it".. that was an almighty cock up by money grabbing Sony who found the song "post death" in the archived released it.  You can tell its a young MJ singing, and its not finished and is badly produced.   MJ wouldnt have approved and it turned out he co-wrote it and Sony had to pay royalties out to the other guy.... which is why it was never released as a single.  Sony scored an own goal on that one.

well, we did hear we are the world at the memorial so maybe that is what the note on the mirror was for, planning the memorial?
