Everytime when I think about why the Jackson family used only old pictures of him at all events I can't find a good answer to this question.Oke, i can invent some like maybe they want him to rembered as a black man and therefor only show pictures of him when he was still unaffected by the vitiligo.Or, till about the end of te eighties, he wasn't so much harassed with all the bad rumors. But on the other hand, I think his children weren't even born yet at that time.Wouldn't they want to remember him the way they knew him? Somehow there must be a good reason for only showing the old pictures and not only because the pictures on the memorial and burial from Liberian Girl are symbolic for the hoax.The book Katherine has written is full of old pictures as far as I know ( I don't have one) and there are other older pictures but no recent ones.Has anyone an idea?
Good question. I'm thinking, a lot of more recent pics, like from the past 10 years, are either, performing (concert) pictures, or ones that have a mask on. Maybe it is just hard to find a pic where he isn't covering up, with sunglasses/mask in more recent years??
This is still one of the weirdest things to me. I have been to many funerals where they have photos of the deceased on display but normally they are from the start and end of life, not just one particular era.

There are recent pictures of him without sunglasses.For instance this one and how about all the This is it pictures, enough without sunglasses.
This is a question that intrigues me a lot,as we know there are alot of recent photos that could have been used . :?: :?:
There are some beautiful pictures of Michael from latter years it really doesn't make sense at all that the family didn't use these.
Maybe Micheal is picking the pics and those are the ones he thinks he looks best! :D
He used Liberian Girl pics because @ the end of the video he reveals himself. All the people in the video was looking for MJ, and couldnt find him. Little did they know he was watching them the whole time. Its very symbolic in regards to the hoax.

It could simply be, that the older pictures look more like her or a "Jackson". Those pics may be the years she thought he looked best. Perhaps she never agreed with his transformation and in her mind she sees this version of MJ. My mom is 70-something now, but still when she pops up in my mind, she always looks like she did when I was a kid....when she was 30-something. You know what I mean? I'd have to comb the whole book to determine if I see any clues or hidden messages. Does anyone here have the book?

maybe she wants people to take a good hard look at them .
Aside from the hoax-related/funeral-memorial pics, I think Katherine simply wants people to remember that Michael is black.
