I'm been feeling so down & filled with anxiety because of Japan's disaster,having numerous aftershocks(daily)for almost 2 weeks...then....
...I was at a loss for words when I heard the news about LIZ.I am so sad because the world has lost a DAME & an ICON. No one can ever replace her. Immediately I thought of Michael of how devastated he must be.

May LIZ rest in peace & she has done so much while living in this world.She has touched different generations & will continue to do so with all the good works/movies she has left behind.She will never ever be forgotten.

When Michael died, liz was apparently rushed to the hospital of shock and was treated for high blood pressure. Zsa Zsa Gabor, who is 94, did the same thing when Liz passed away. interesting? coincidence? Maybe. but strange nevertheless.

i heard this yesterday i was so sad. I couldn't come on here yesterday to pay my condolinces because my laptop wouldn't work.I can't imagine the pain tat Mike and her Family are going through.I hope we see Mike in disguies at the funneral

She was lengendary and the golden girl of her generation

Couple reasons...
With Elizabeth, we knew she was ill and older, so we have more reasons to believe she really died.
With Michael, we had feelings it didn't happen from the moment they announced they had called 911.

To tell you the truth I felt Michael will cancel the concerts or simply "he will die" that's what i felt : that he will 'die'/die (one of them)....and when my friend called me to open the tv and watch the news i was like "okay...he died"...the next days i cried...realizing that he will never come back...he's gone...But for Liz....i was never a fan of hers but i feel so much pain when i think about it...maybe because i think Michael is alive and he can be so hurt (?) i haven't found the answer yet..it's  hidden deep within me ..

Liz Taylor’s funeral service to be held today at Forest Lawn
on March 24, 2011

Elizabeth Taylor will be buried in a private ceremony in Los Angeles today.

A memorial service will be held for Hollywood icon at Forest Lawn Memorial-Parks and Mortuaries in Glendale, California.

It is the same place where Taylor’s late close friend, Michael Jackson, is buried  :roll: .

Reports say tonight’s service will be attended by strictly family only, including her 10 grandchildren.

It is believed there will be a public memorial service held at a later date to commemorate her life.

A photo has emerged of the family crypt, with a spare space next to where her parents Francis and Sara are laid to rest.

It was also suggested that Taylor, who died on Wednesday of heart failure aged 79, would be buried in Wales in a grave belonging to the family of her late husband Richard Burton – or even eventually with the body of Burton himself.

Members of his family today said they were hoping to honour the agreement the couple had to be buried together at a cemetery in Pontrhydyfen, near Port Talbot, a pledge made when they were married.

Burton, whom she married twice, died 26 years ago but was buried near the home in Switzerland that he shared with his last wife, Sally, for tax reasons.

However, Burton’s family told the Daily Mail after he died that Elizabeth went to see them and insisted she was to be buried at the Methodist cemetery in her late ex-husband’s home village next to his parents Dick and Edith Jenkins.

Richard’s brother, Graham, said in 2006: ‘Elizabeth has made it quite clear to me that she wants to be laid to rest here.

‘She says that although Richard’s body is buried in Switzerland, his heart belongs to Wales and it is her wish to be buried here.’

There were also rumours that Burton would eventually disinterred from Switzerland and brought home to the Valleys – with friends close to Liz confirming she had been in negotiations with Burton’s widow to bring his body home.

And today, Burton’s niece, Sian Owen, said about the family grave: ‘If she has stipulated in her will that that’s what she wants then of course we will be 100 per cent behind her.’

Meanwhile,  anti gay activists from the Westboro Baptist Church are threatening to picket Liz’s funeral – wherever it is held.

The church plans to protest because of the star’s gay friendly views and her work as an AIDS activist.
