Wow!  That's an amazing admission from someone who is himself a war criminal.  

However, with regard to Libya, I'm watching the news reports and bits of footage being released and have concluded that what we are hearing and seeing about the conflict is complete bullocks.

SEATTLE (AP) - Several explicit photographs showing Afghan dead, soldiers of United States were published on Monday by a means of German news.Among unpublished images, that US armed forces kept secret by an investigation of war crimes, is one that shows a soldier smiling while posing next to a bloodied and partially clothed body.

Photographs published by the weekly magazine Der Spiegel are among several seized by elements of the Navy that they investigated the death of three Afghans disarmed last year. Five soldiers of the joint military base Lewis-McChord, South of Seattle, have been accused of murder and conspiracy in the case.
It was not possible to immediately locate executives from Der Spiegel on Monday seeking comment on the matter, and it is unknown how the organization obtained the copies.
Printed editions with photographs were on sale in posts of journals on Monday, a day after Der Spiegel published them on the internet.
The officers involved in the martial courts had submitted a strict protective order which sought to limit access of severe form pictures due to the delicacy of the matter.
"The day of today, Der Spiegel published photographs representing repugnant acts for us as human beings and contrary to the standards and values of the United States Navy," said US Navy through a press release issued by Col. Thomas Collins. "We apologize for the distress caused by these pictures".
