I'm from France, and when I watch americans (?) shows like that, I can tell you: American TV is very, very a big SHIT. Sorry for beeing rude, but what an ugly country ! I know why MJ didn't like it anymore...
Seriously, all that you see in TV is false, invented, staged, disrespectfull... The secret of american TV's ? Big spectacular music, big resounding voiceover, and interviews of people saying bad things.
They're so disrespectfull against Michael in the video. Again, he's a victim of spectacle, paparazzi and gossip stuff.
Very ugly this, and to see that so many people watch this and make american channels a success...
It's disgusting. It's like see the news...
The only thing I like it's watching series in original version with french subtitles.
You are wrong and be respectful to other countries since we have here americans. Michael is american too. Who said he does not love America, he does not like paparazzi that is a shit in every country. You cannot judge about America by group of people or events. Is there ideal country on the Earth?
Leave America alone! today this site based on american star, using majority of american web sites and people for discussions. Go over threads one more time. Ooops.
I avoid watching American TV for some reasons that have to do with what Cameron expressed.
Comparison with other countries shows indeed a very basic level of average programs in the U.S. This is not meant as any offense - it is just making one think when comparing what else is available. I think Americans deserve better - just that they don't know what TV could be like alternatively. Btw, every country has terrible TV channels, it's just a matter of picking the good ones and a matter of average level.
There are great channels available in other countries and nothing is more refreshing our spirits than to get acquainted with other people's perspectives on life.
It is just sad that many do not explore the world that is out there.
Life is easier for VIPs in many countries, too.
We have many protecting laws and if there is an infringement, publishers over here better get warm socks on.
The Americas are not the bellybutton of the world with the best of all feasible solutions although they may fancy about this role. There's many great places around the globe, more great folks around the globe and many phantastic ways to live and create favourable conditions for a good life. Pluralism is the way to success and peace - therefore I have chosen in my very personal life - from comparison - to not watch U.S. TV.
Who wants to stick to U.S. TV. - fine. But to limit yourself to it would be just a pity.
It's great to be curious about how others are doing it, isn't it?
Then after all comparison: to each one his own choice and taste.
If one likes to make one's life really easier and better - no matter in which country one is living - best solution is to throw TV completely out of one's house.
One will have more time for one's life, with one's pals, family and for the really important things in life. Plus one will not have to bother about any manipulation anymore.
Can we agree on that and return to the topic pls. before starting another unnecessary argument?
