MJ's Kids Give Away $10,000 to Honor Dad

Michael Jackson's children definitely have the bug -- the one that makes you give away large sums of money -- because they just helped make a $10,000 donation to one of MJ's favorite charities.

Earlier this week, Prince, Paris, and Blanket presented a check for $10K to the L.A. Housing Corporation -- a group that provides shelter for homeless families. Sources tell us Michael used to take his kids to volunteer with the group.

We're told the massive chunk o' change came from grandma Katherine Jackson's memorabilia biz.

MJ's heirs made the donation on behalf of his Heal the World Foundation. All three of them joined the group's Youth Board of Advisors last year.

And there was Mrs. Jackson, attacked by the fans for making money "off of Mike's back". And now she is donating it to charity.... Let's see if those fans still have such a foul mouth!

I find it interesting/puzzling that on the site they say the following (kinda sad), yet MJ's kids and Katherine are basically endorsing the organization.  Does anyone know the legal details? Could Michael be behind this? :? Is there maybe changes happening legally behind the scenes now with HTWF?

I think MJ taught those kids well.  That is great the family is giving back.  I remember Steve Harvey talking to MJ about how impressed he was by his children in a radio interview.  He said they were so well mannered and not spoiled acting.  Paris throwing up the peace sign like her daddy always do and Mother Katherine is sporting MJ's favorite color red.  Blanket is so cute.  He's getting tall.

I find it neat that in the photo gallery that accompanies this story, the kids are playing Connect Four. Them playing that game was also shown on GMA.  Like, literally connecting the dots.

Score another crushing victory for the Michael Jackson estate -- this time the MJ squad dropped the hammer on a woman who allegedly set up a sham Heal the World Foundation to dupe Jackson fans into buying merchandise.

TMZ has learned a Federal judge issued an injunction against Melissa Johnson -- the woman behind a Heal the World Foundation website -- requiring her to stop "exploiting Michael Jackson's name, image and likeness."

According to the court order, the judge ruled that Johnson -- who has attempted to register at least 40 trademarks with a direct connection to MJ -- operates websites that "convey to consumers a false affiliation with Michael Jackson."

As you may recall, Jackson operated a legit Heal the World Foundation back in the day, but it had been inactive for many years prior to his death.

Souza you are right, people are so fast to jump the gun. Katherine is a good human being, and a wonderful mother, she raised her children very well with compasion, love, and be a humanitarian. Michael did not raise by himself, he has his mother who guided him, and still guiding him.
