There are many references to Vaudeville Schtick in the Godspell movie. This is not only a reference to the muppet show (Who have got their own Dodo by the way!) but also to a form of theatrical entertainment played at Vaudeville venues such as the Pantages theatres. The Dodo is a goofy bird who appeared in episode 415 of The Muppet Show. He interrupted Anne Murray on her signature song "Snowbird," and helped her finish the song after exchanging some bird puns.The dodo also appeared in the 1996 film Muppet Treasure Island.
