MICHAEL JACKSON'S FAMILY SET FOR A TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS

Sunday December 20,2009
By Daily Express reporter

MICHAEL JACKSON'S family is bringing joy to his three children by celebrating a traditional Christmas, even though most of their relatives shun the Christian holiday.

Grandmother and guardian Katherine Jackson, 79, is a devout Jehovah's Witness. But a source said yesterday: "She's determined to give Michael's kids a normal time."

And Jackson's brother Jermaine, 55, who converted to Islam, is allowing his two youngest children, Jaafar, 13, and Jermajesty, nine, to join in the festivities.

They have become "extremely close" to Michael's children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, seven, since the legend died six months ago.

A tree was delivered to the family compound in the LA suburb of Encino last week.
