This is it VS Dome Project
December 18, 2009, 05:37:41 PM
Hi there my mj hoax family!

There's something on my mind that's really REALLY bugging me...
Maybe some of you girls/guys know the answer.

When Michael "died" a few days later I've read on a Dutch website about the "Dome Project" (lets call it DP), that Michael just finished the DP right on time before he "died"

Now..a few months later, I've heard one of the dancers, OR KO(I'm sorry I don't remember but I'm sure one of you all knows what I'm talking about ;) ) say:
The Dome Project was nothing, it was "just" a code name for this is it.

Okay so..The DP a.k.a. This is it?, was finished JUST IN TIME, before Michael "died"
What doesn't makes sense to you?:)

I assumed that they referred to TII as the Dome project because the O2 arena in  London used to be the Millenium dome

What do you make of this? They were saying that the O2 concerts would never happen, and that Paul MacCartney would stand in.

The DOME Project and This Is It are 2 totally different things in words of content.

The DOME Project consists of 16 short film experiences.3 of these short films you have seen in The This Is It Movie/Documentary.The only code names I can think of that you are referring to in names of the DOME Project are the decoy song titles adopted in conversation and on paper to preserve the secrecy of the project. From the 3 films you have saw would be:
-Thriller became known as 'Graveyard'
-Earth Song became known as 'Nature'
-Smooth Criminal became known as 'Crime Scene'

The point in which the DOME Project and This Is It(Show/Concert/Movie/Documentary) merge together is what MJ likes to call, the fourth dimension.

-  He would present short films in 3D and the audience would be cued to put on 3D glasses. Then, at a certain point in each film, live action would unfold on the stage. All of the characters in the film, even the props, would leave the screen and emerge onstage. The story in the film would continue as a theatrical concert performance.

Pretty Cool Huh?

This Is It Concert Show consist of 25 performances, performed by Michael Jackson and the TII dancers,back-up singer, etc. As I stated before 16 of these performances included DOME material. In This Is It The Movie/Documentary,you are only showed 3 of the DOME individual projects(monomers) and a few of the other performances as rehearsals without any real props (i.e. Beat It's burning jacket, the aerialists,Billie Jean's hat/glove/wardrobe sha-bang,etc.).In This Is It DVD Blu-Ray you will get to see a lot more of that footage plus some more.In This Is It the Concert.....well,who knows what you are going to see aside from the stated and Michael Jackson,Michael Jackson. So thats said.

More On TII/DOME:
The films are to be presented on a 90 foot by 30 foot LED screen directly behind the concert stage.(In TII m/d they are showed on a greenscreen, this will not be the case in the future.)Smooth Criminal,Thriller and Earth Song were recorded between June 1st and 11th,and production wrapped in the wee hours,am of June 11th.Michael attended the marathon filming which last eight days, the other days were used to get it all together, set up etc.In the post-production phase of TII,they all went to The Staples Center, for 'full scale rehearsal'(which is still being continued,as you know MJ wasn't in wardrobe for most of the film, maybe twice.)[No need to add the rest, you should know the rest]

That was a brief,i guess.
The rest.....well thats HIStory, left for him to write, plan, perform, produce, direct, explain, etc.
