The letter "M" has been used to replace the "Y" and represents "Michael" instead of "Year" so that this then becomes relevant to a major event in Michael's life."2K" would still represent 2000 but instead of it generally referencing the Year 2000 (Y2K), it now represents Michael 2000 add 5 to that as in "V" and you get Michael 2005. This references Michael's 2005 trial, in which an innocent man was prosecuted for something he didn't do...enter Conrad Murray and the current trial.
