Hi - yes, that is what we've heard. There is another thread about this but I don't think the channel is listed, if there is one. If you find that it's being streamed online, please let us know.

Happy New Year!

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

It was probably only aired on Georgia stations, and possibly the surrounding states.  They have a huge peach that drops in Atlanta at midnight, similar to the apple in New York City.

Go to your CNN that is the only place that shows world news, if your not in ATL the show will not come on in your hometown..

yeah, i saw that on TMZ. I tried pretty much every channel I could find that related to New Years Eve... I never saw one in Atlanta, or anything about an "Annual Peach Drop" so I just looked it up online, and I don't think it's televised. :?

There has not been one year to my knowledge that the Peach dropping is not a big televised wing ding here in GA but this year nothing at all. I searched every channel and heard nothing, no news. It was very odd. I've lived in GA for over 18 years and in the South most of my life. I know the event very well and it was just too quiet. Usually pretty big entertainment goes on etc...

This is kind of strange. If you go to the peach drop website it has this green box on it that says: "Have A Great 2020!"

That was great. Tito sounds good. Even if I can't be somewhere I can always watch it on trusty ole youtube. I love watching videos of events cause then I feel like I traveled there if only for a moment in my mind.  ;)

Peace

I'm a little surprised that Katherine participated in this, as I thought the only event that JW's celebrate is Anniversaries.
