as everyone knows the new album 'michael' comes/came out today and today while listening to the song on it called ''breaking news'' i was thinking why did it HAVE to come out in december? everything happends for a reason and the reason for this? mabey its a clue (it has alot of hoax clues in it) and its leading up to 7 months later (possible BAM day) july. remember that note it read 'see you in july 2011- mj' just a thought tell me what you think!

Christmas sells...especially a posthumous Michael Jackson album...I don't think it has anything to do with numbers, but those of cash...Just my opinion.

I agree the timing is strategic but I disagree that any of the primary agendas for this album are for sales figures.

I think it was designed in part to follow a November filled with MJ chatter and news and stories. MJ activity ramped up in November and much of it was anticipated by hoaxers (5th of November, anniversaries of key dates in regards to pre chi-mo trial arrest/search/wiretapping). Also just prior to Murray prelim trial in January. November also starts the 8th 70 day period since 6/25/09, with 10/28/10 being the 490th day of the hoax [7x70 or (7) 70 day periods, reference to the new 7 day theory: "7 days plus one day of simmering"~back MJJC]

So being in relation to Christmas makes little difference in my opinion except that Christmas is the 18th month anniversary of the start of the hoax. 1+8=9 or 9x9.

I don't believe MJ is trying to sell albums considering the choice of music included in the 10 (only) tracks. Sony doesn't seem to be trying very hard to make good on their investment either considering the inclusion of the Cascio tracks but that's both up for and should be included in, another debate.

I agree. I don't think it has anything to do with selling the album. It has more to do with timing. I think that 70 day theory is really interesting and holds a lot of merit in relation to timing. When is the next 70 days over?

If you count from Murray's last court "thing" it's 1/4/11 exactly. If you count precisely (which I'm more inclined too as the dates tend to be soft every 3rd period or so, and vary from 4-6 days or so. Example, Murray court 8/23/10 to Murray judges meet 10/26/10 was only 64 days. The equivalent 70 period when counted exact was 8/19/10-10/28/10. This was the 7th 70 day period.)
