I watched Michael Moore's "SICKo" yesterday and there was this British MP Tony Benn who said some very wise things. Actually, one of the most powerful couple of sentences I've heard for a while:
"If you can find money to kill people, you can find money to help people"
"There are two ways in which people are controlled. First of all, frighten people and secondly, demoralize them. An educated, healthy and confident nation is harder to govern."
If you haven't seen Sicko yet, I recommend it. There's a woman who admits having caused death of patient denying health care insurance coverage to save money for the insurance company and to get personal advantage. Greed at its lowest form.
If you know where to see Moore's Capitalism, a love story online, PM me.
This is directly to part 7, Tony Benn's talk, he begins the clip and continues again at around 7:00
