Fans Pissed Over Televised 'Michael Jackson Autopsy'

Michael Jackson fans are scrambling to stop the Discovery Channel from broadcasting a gruesome reenactment of MJ's autopsy ... calling the whole thing an "affront to human dignity."

TMZ has learned ... fans have already collected nearly 1,500 signatures -- all demanding the network pull the plug on a special entitled "Michael Jackson's Autopsy" ... in which MJ's bloody autopsy is expected to be reenacted in gory detail.

The fans behind the petition call the documentary "an affront to human dignity" -- adding, "This type of sensational and unscrupulous reporting can only cause harm."

The petition states, "We ask the directors of the Discovery Channel programming to proceed with the outright cancellation of this indecent documentary."

The doc is scheduled to air January 13th in the UK.

I also agree with everyone here that there is no need for this.  What will it achieve?  Autopsies occur everyday all over the World...   we have the report, so why re-enact it?  Just wierd if you ask me and i wont be watching.  How depressing would that programme be???

I know out of curiosity I would watch but NOT bcuz I believe what they r saying.  We already know everything about the autopsy just about sooo where was this like 17iish months ago? Also in the artical when it says "Reenacted in gory detail" it makes me think of Monster 4 sum reason :?: ?

Technically, fan- believers should not be worry because Michael is not dead. I would like to see what it is going to be shown. Maybe we can find something in favor to hoax, another inconsistency or interesting crap. That would be disrespectful if Michael would have been really dead.
On the other hand, considering that if channel supported by Sony, then clear that Sony is not in the hoax. If it does not, then I am curious what is the real purpose of the show. Maybe to prove that Michael was killed or death could be prevented. If that's the case, then it is in favor to Michael investigation. In any way I want to see how they will analyze the autopsy, what will be "discovered" that we have missed.

I get the feeling it's a joke as well. Just to point out more and more connections to other hoaxes. To me this sounds too ridiculous to be real.

I think the same and it's quite obvious to me that TMZ is all over this forum - maybe even a few "inactive" usernames - best way to see what's new is to have a username.

This type of article seems like an around-the-corner shout out to us.  We are on the blogroll so TMZ is officially watching this place.

We know that Michael is alive so this autopsy is a fabrication of a fabrication.  It's based on something that didn't actually happen - this is all so scripted.  As morbid as the subject matter is, it once again brings Michael's name up in a controversial way.
