I think this "leaking" is part of getting to know the man.
Getting to know the "making of".
We have seen rehearsals for the show.
We have listened to raw versions and finished songs.
We are being presented the "refinement" stages of a song.

Why?
To witness talent and effort, love and dedication.
To witness striving for perfection.
To understand HOW it is done. To understand WHY it is done the way it is done.
This is educating our senses, our eyes, our ears, our capacity to listen, question, find the fine differences.
It is - somewhat - a training on the job.
I don't believe this journey should transform us into music engineers, producers or artists.
But this is it: getting to know is creating deep appreciation (as much as loss is creating deep appreciation).
It is about making a difference between fast food drive-in and a self-prepared meal for friends. Michael SHARES with us. He's closer than ever before.
