Am I the only one that is wondering on this sentence?

The album contains ten tracks, produced by an esteemed group of producers along with Michael Jackson.

Maybe I'm not so good with English, but as far as I know "along with" means "with"..

So, these are my 2 ideas:

- there were 'an esteemed group of producers' with Michael and Frank Casio back in 2007, when they recorded the tracks
- Michael has worked on this album.. In the last months

If the first one is the right one, how comes that the tracks were incomplete and the current producers had to rearrange them adding the music, the choruses, etc?

What do you think about this? Am I misunderstanding something?

Yes, it means "together with/with"

Of course I believe the thing with "Breaking News" was that MJ's voice was simply that it was in a different pitch and timbre, but no imposters... :P

I third that!  I was really hoping it would be on this album too.  Oh well, maybe it will be on the next one.

Let's wait it out - as Prince said   Let's all wait it out. Who knows ... Mike recorded between 100 and 120 songs for each album he was working on (his words). I wouldn't be surprised if there will be an announcement soon of a follow up album ... Michael II?

To put more controvercy - isnt DESCRIPTION ON OFFICIAL SITE too weird??

The much anticipated    album of newly completed recordings from Michael Jackson.  Includes the songs he most recently created along with tracks that Michael had a desire to bring to fruition.
The album cover of MICHAEL was created by painter Kadir Nelson; the oil painting, created in 2009, takes us on a journey through some key moments and important people in Michael Jackson’s life.
Tracklisting:

   1. Hold My Hand (Duet with Akon)
   2. Hollywood Tonight
   3. Keep Your Head Up
   4. (I Like) The Way You Love Me
   5. Monster (Featuring 50 Cent)
   6. Best Of Joy
   7. Breaking News
   8. (I Can’t Make It) Another Day (Featuring Lenny Kravitz)
   9. Behind The Mask
  10. Much Too Soon

/And where in the hell ALL NEW TRACK we already listen ????

Yeah he put it on one of the Ultimate Collection CD's in 2004, I also can't understand why Hold My Hand made the cut either. This is a song that almost all MJ fans have heard because of it's original release through the internet, which means it doesn't meet the criteria promised to the fan's (I.e. Unreleased, unheard and new) meaning that they're being ripped off.. Sigh, I never had high hopes for this album in the first place if I'm honest, I knew what was realistically going to be on offer.

and as far as "Do You Know Where Children Are?" I can't say I'm a big fan that track at all, really, he's made far better.

I think we will be surprised once the album comes out. It's my opinion that what we've heard snippets of is different than the actual recordings.

I guess it's a matter of choice because I really like these two new songs and I love the message. I like that Michael changes his sound. If you listen to his earlier music compared to Invincible there was a difference too and I love that album (after hearing it for the first time early this year). Blessings.
