So I really don't know what's the purpose of putting those pics in there...but I'd like to know if they're in all phones from SE or at least that model (Xperia mini, by the way).

Okay, I got the exact same sunflower pic in my Xperia 10. I just bought this phone like weeks ago. It's new.

And I agree with Sind that the slogan Make.Believe makes absolutely no sense. And it's a Sony slogan, so it's not just for SE phones...it's for anything SONY, I think. So that's even weirder. You want to make ppl believe SONY TV is worth buying because.... The fake element in the notion of Make.Believe is undeniable. I think that's one of the WORST SLOGANS ever...unless...ya know...

Does anyone know WHEN Sony started using Make Believe as their slogan?  I seem to remember seeing it in TV ads quite a while back but I could be wrong. Time to go do some researching again....

Symbolizing Sony’s spirit of creativity and innovation, it is the first time Sony has introduced a single overarching brand message for all of its entertainment and electronics businesses around the globe. ‘make.believe’ unites Sony’s communication efforts across electronics, games, movies, music, mobile phones and network services. Sony has stated that ‘Believe’ is the power of inspiration, while ‘make’ is about crafting inspiration into products and experiences for our consumers. The ‘dot’ is the place where they meet.

Last week, CEO/President Howard Stringer announced the ‘make.believe’ slogan and campaigned it internally with a supplementary video, and the reaction has been positive. I feel that this is a good marketing transformation for Sony as they move forward into 2010 with exciting new products and technologies. It’s easy for me to say that Sony’s current offerings are light years beyond what they sold in the past five years, with many products embracing open standards and network connectivity is finally taking center stage. Consumers are now able to believe that they can make anything with Sony products, and not be restricted by closed formats and restrictive DRM.

According to what I dug up it was the beginning of September 2009, which is when it was announced at IFA 2009.  I just answered my own question for a change!

Was there any music in the phone when you bought it? There's usually the album covers for some of the songs there might be in your new phone. At least I did, not MJ unfortunately!
The other photos could just be there so show how "incredible and extremely awsome pics" you can take with it.

Personally, I don't think Sony would buy into the sunflowers, etc., just for marketing. You have to remember that there are lots of people that have no idea what the sunflower now represents.

For me, I'm beginning to wonder if Michael really did mean...I own 1/2 of Sony...instead of what we think he meant. LOL. Either way, I think Sony is neck deep into this hoax right along with Coca-Cola. Between this and Teddy Riley I'm having a great weekend! Please, God, oh please, don't let this end!!!

Personally 100% agree with you!The estate would sue Sony for this. They didn't even sue Sony when they think that some of the voices do not belong to Michael in the new album. Why do you think? Because Sony is in on the hoax. Michael's got Sony.
