Yes, he is! I love this performance. You can tell his true affection for Elizabeth and his vocals are incredible as always.

Blessings.

I can't even imagine how Elizabeth must have felt watching Michael sing that.  What an incredible gift he gave her.  This video brought me to tears.  Not just because it's loving and beautiful in such pure, honest way.  I was in tears because for one brief moment, the world stood still and Michael was back.  I was lost among the words and melody.
Thank you for posting this One Love, it's beautiful.

Many Blessings!

It seems to me like there is a hidden meaning. Michael's words to Elizabeth are the exact representation of his life too. Hollywood will rob you of your childhood. The song is about him GUYS!

Here's the lyrics:

Welcome to Hollywood
That's what they told you
A child star in Hollywood
That's what they sold you
Grace with beauty, charme and talent
You would do what you were told
But they robbed you of your childhood
Took your youth and sold it for gold

Elizabeth, I love you
You're every star that shines in the world to me
Elizabeth can't you see that it's true
Elizabeth, I love you
You're more than just a star to me

Lovely Elizabeth
You have surpassed them all
My friend Elizabeth
Learned to outlast them all
Many started back when you did
Lost their way and now they're gone
But look at you, a true survivor
Full of life and carrying on

This is your life
You seem to have it all
You reached your peak
They wanted you to fall
It's very sad, this world can be so bad
But though all the heartaches
When they put you down
You know you were the victor
And you earned the crown
It's like walking through the fire
Determinded to win
You were beating life's battles
Again and again

Elizabeth, I love you
You're every star that shines in the world to me
Elizabeth can't you see that it's true

Remember the time I was alone
You stood by my side and said:
"Let's be strong"
You did all these things
That only a true friend can do

Elizabeth, I love you
The world knows your work now
I pray one day I'll be just like... you.

well, being child stars is why they had the great connection and why they have a great understanding for each other's lives...
its about any child star really, or I should say that any child star could relate to it, but its about/for ET

I heard someone said that michael lip synced in this performance
for me it's indeed live . I wonder why people said he was miming .    :?

You gave me strenght when I wasn\'t strong ..
You gave me hope when all hope was lost ..
You open my eyes when I couldn\'t see ..
Thank you for everything, Michael ..

enthralling. i'd rather have that than all the materialistic things in this world. times a billion. nothing tops things from the heart. nothing.

Yeah we're all wonderful, wonderful people
so when did we all get so fearful?
and now we're finally finding our voices
so take a chance, come help me sing this

50/50 about the lip synch....I see parts that could be.  But it doesn't matter to me.  Its the first time I saw this and it is just beautiful....every word is so true and so Michael...god bless him.  xoxo
