These places 1:02, 1:56, 2:38, 2:43....or is this Akon's voice?

Just listened to a slowed down version. I hear alive. No way there is an R in the word. Align, alive, whatever, but not alright.

I honestly don't know why people think this is a "new" song. I had this song in my ipod since last year. Its not new AT ALL.......... 3 mins later.
Okay guys this is very weird. I just got done listening to the song and this is NOT how it was. Im more than convinced Michael recently recorded this!!! Oh gosh and the last part where Michael whisper's "hold my hand" that gave me chills! MICHAEL JACKSON IS ALIVE FOLKS!!!!!

I agree that this version is better than the previously leaked one.
What I hear at the beginning is:

Akon: Akon and MJ

I don't think MJ said "alive".  Some words are just not very clear... And remember how Michael said "You and I must make a pack" instead of "pact" in "I'll be there"?

I was listening to invincible tonight and every single one of those tracks... even the weak tracks, blow Hold My and out of the water.

I still can't figure out why they don't re-release Invincible, and make Whatever Happens a single. That song is simply amazing, and would get serious radio time and go to number one and stay there for a few weeks.

Hold My Hand just isn't that good. But it's brilliant because BN lowered the bar so far down that just about anything after that, even MJ singing Happy Birthday, would sound amazing in comparison.

I see where you're coming from bec although I must say I like the song.  I don't really understand why it had to be a duet though - in my opinion it would be even better if it were just Michael.  Either way, I do think the song is catchy and I found myself dancing to it while my cat attacked my feet as he tends to do when I dance.

And I am totally with you on Whatever Happens - it is one of my FAVORITE songs and hardly anybody has heard it!  And that's a shame.
