There wasn't much response from people who were able (do not confuse with willing) to manage the new website. I didn't want to be involved but I also think it can be of help if we do certain actions as a group. Everything is transparent and will be discussed on here and I have nothing to hide so I thought 'well who cares, let's do it'. It's only updating what is discussed with all of you and if someone finds it necessary to blog about it, they can go ahead. I am willing to give someone the log-in of the ftp server so they can see there is no hidden agenda. I don't think we should have donate buttons on there, I think it's better to draw attention to charities and link people to their official websites. When a disaster happens, like Haiti, Chile etc. it's possible to link the main domain to a page about that with all the contact info for donating so that will be the first page people see.

Unlike TINI, we can give out a message of love, without slandering people of which we know are in on the hoax (Murray for example) and we can question everything, like the Murray case since that can be considered as very poor journalism as well, what might get people to type "Michael Jackson Death Hoax" into google.

Here is what is now on the site. It's just a design and things need to be filled with the texts, articles, charities etc. so don't look at the content yet. Just give your opinion about the design, the navigation etc. and add ideas. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
I already showed it to 3 or 4 people to see if there would be any bugs etc. so I could remove it before I would post it.

Who wants to write the intro and the about us? Short intro where we introduce the army and the about us where we explain the why, the how etc.


About us (rename to media?) >

change in Media where we can publish the slanderous media articles and tv-statements/interviews like we also do on the forum. There is already a subforum for that on the forum for those who haven't seen it yet.


Charity >

A list of (verified) charity organisations with their info and links to the website, twitter etc. I think we should make a thread where we collect them all and where we can add more later if the page needs to be updates.


Articles (maybe rename it to News) >

where all relevant news can be published. Same as with the Charity page, maybe it's a good idea to make a thread where we collect it.


Contact >

Where people can send articles/charities etc. Maybe someone is willing to manage and collect the emails with for example "charities@michaelsarmyoflove.com" where people can send additional organisations and "report@michaelsarmyoflove.com" where people can report bad journalism, report TV interviews/shows etc. and "news@michaelsarmyoflove.com" where people can send all news relevant.

It's just some ideas and the site is only a draft and things can be changed so post your opinions and ideas.


Just to be clear: I think everything should stay on the forum and we should discuss everything on the forum. That is our base and this site is merely to refer to when contacting the media and to get others on board. Many are opposing the hoax and therefore will not bother to read any further once they see "MJ Death Hoax". This way we have a neutral platform. The media already knows about the hoax, and ignore it, so linking this to the hoax wouldn't make a difference IMO and will only scare people off.

I think its great that we're having links to charities rather than a donate button, I know some were worried as soon as money was involved but now there can be no implication of hidden agendas at all that won't be a concern.  I agree that as a neutral platform it will be helpful in spreading the message without the usual prejudice we face as soon as the word hoax is mentioned.  Glad to see it coming together, I was just wondering if it was still happening soon with all the other stuff going on this week.

This first section also needs to cover our goals/intends/objectives/Vision ---> What is this website about? What do we want to achieve? ...etc Talk about L.O.V.E, Michael Message, Who we are...etc  --- I do not believe that there is much value in posting a member list made of usernames, it will make people suspicious - and I would as such recommend that we leave this out altogether )
I would place Michael's charitable contribution under the Charity Tab or can you have sub tabs?

One the feedback has been collected, I can offer to do a first draft of the home page and continue feedback on the site as it is being constructed.
