I know! Too true! Surely some people out there will think it's weird. I already saw a bundle of comments on his Facebook page when 'Breaking News' was released saying "How can he release this? I thought he was dead!" and stuff along those lines. I mean, until now I've wondered whether people will ever see the clues that are being given to make people see the inconsistencies and I've often thought they are too subtle for people to see but things like this should hopefully get some minds going :D

I have seen this too. Just have to laugh - what a bunch of idiots!!!

What does exactly the word "produce" mean?
Can you actually "produce" a song, keep it in the closet, "die", and then have it finished/mixed and released by someone else and still be the "producer"?   :?

Take a look...explaination from google search on a YAHOO! answers

The producer is usually the one that puts the "whole package together"
It can have many meanings

He might find that artist
The artist might find him.

He usually helps select the songs on any releases,
May help put together a band, or backing group,
dancers, backup singers etc
These are ALL things that a producer "might" do...?

book the acts in clubs,
select a recording studio
select the musicians, if different than the artists reg group
help select the songs,
help select a co-writer
engineer the board during recording
some get directly involved in the recording, are on the recording.
Be involved in the "mixdown/mastering" process
help find a label, or start one
help find distribution for any releases.
Some artists produce their own songs,
some don't.
He might "produce the artist", but not the music,
meaning he helps with the general "marketing" but not involved in the song process.
some Co-Produce, meaning they "share" the responsibilities
Source(s):
producing is a very "general" term, that can take on many meanings, depending on the needs of the artist.

I was just reading the press release for the album tracklisting.

Did anyone else notice the following:

On December 14th, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release the much-anticipated new album MICHAEL. The album contains ten tracks, produced by an esteemed group of producers along with Michael Jackson. While primarily focused on songs that Michael worked on recently, there are also earlier compelling tracks.

Interesting. Just thought I'd mention it  :)

interesting... but... link please  :)

Re: Michael Jackson The PRODUCER On New Album??

"Producer" is a very broad term in the world of music.  Especially in pop/hip-hop.
In Rock music a producer would be more like a director that would help set the band in the right direction to broaden their sound.  Someone who has a good idea of how to record sound and get the most out of a studio.
In pop music a producer can serve that purpose, but often also creates and arranges the musical  accompaniment and assists in composition of the song.  But it really only takes as much as deciding the composition of a song and having input on the musical aspects to get a producers credit in the musical world.

I think a lot of you are reading too far into this.  And understandably so, if I didn't have experience as a (small time) producer myself I would be asking questions too.

So just by Michael recording the original demos and being the original visionary on the songs gets him a producers credit.

As for TII, he got a producers credit because he would have been considered a producer of the TII live show.  So they basically just transferred his credit over to the film.

Even if he is still alive, these would not be signs pointing to that fact.

Interesting, there's no mention of the "fact" that he is dead. Anyway. Not on the press releases, descriptions for the song, the album, anything.

You could argue that there was so much press coverage of his death that it's just understood.  Like they shouldn't need to throw "RIP" phrases everywhere and on everything MJ related that comes out. If you don't know he is "dead" then you have probably been living under a rock.
Also, not everyone likes to be reminded that their favorite pop icon is dead and gone.
I'm still on the fence about all of this, but I don't think that the lack of acknowledgement of his death is proof that he's still alive.
My father died in 1999 and I don't throw a "RIP" or "God rest his soul" out every time I speak his name or whatever.

I'm curious as to why all of these people so certain of MJ's "death" come to a site that believe/know he is alive. Keep coming, "don't stop till you get enough", we might just make beLIEvers out of you yet!  :D

Re: Michael Jackson The PRODUCER On New Album??

I'm here because a lot of this hoax stuff makes sense.
But also a lot of it is people just being ignorant in certain areas. Not that I know anymore than anyone else, but I've  been lurking here for a while (and watching various hoax vids on youtube since the 'death') and most of what I see is nonsense. It seems when some people get eaten up with the hoax they start to over analyze everything.  It's never a bad thing to have someone that's not completely biased one way or another.
Like I said, a lot of things don't add up, and that's why I'm here.  I don't think I can completely commit one way or the other until some kind of proof is out there.  As of now, the only proof of his death we have is press coverage and an iffy/shady death certificate.
I really hope he's still alive, I think it would be the biggest publicity stunt in the history of the world.  And I really believe that if anyone had enough money and resources to pull something like this off, it's MJ.

So dont knock the ones of us who are unsure, we're only here to keep a balance of sorts.  This whole thing is about asking questions, you don't have to be completely on board with every hoax theory.  Personally, I think the NWO and Illuminati stuff is blown way out of proportion and I try to steer clear of it.  So that's really the only aspect that I am completely closed off to.
