I was just reading the press release for the album tracklisting.

Did anyone else notice the following:

On December 14th, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release the much-anticipated new album MICHAEL. The album contains ten tracks, produced by an esteemed group of producers along with Michael Jackson. While primarily focused on songs that Michael worked on recently, there are also earlier compelling tracks.

Interesting. Just thought I'd mention it  :)

That was my reaction too. I had the same reaction when This Is It came out and he was listed on the credits as the producer of the album

Also, what about "songs Michael worked on recently" ? How could have he worked on songs recently, assuming this means last little while and not past 9 years?  ;)

And also:

"Hold My Hand", a duet with Akon, is a song they recorded in 2007. A handwritten note from Michael belonging to his Estate indicated his desire that "Hold My Hand" be the first single on his next project.

Would be interesting to know when that letter was written lol

Haha yes and why exactly? Was MJ planning to die and have an album released after his "death"? Of course he was! ;)

haha some of this is so funny and I wonder why more people don't question things when they see that Michael is credited as being producers on things- especially for the This Is It cd. Even before I became a beLIEver I as questioning that

I know! Too true! Surely some people out there will think it's weird. I already saw a bundle of comments on his Facebook page when 'Breaking News' was released saying "How can he release this? I thought he was dead!" and stuff along those lines. I mean, until now I've wondered whether people will ever see the clues that are being given to make people see the inconsistencies and I've often thought they are too subtle for people to see but things like this should hopefully get some minds going :D

The SONGS are produced by Michael. Not the album.
They say "On December 14th, Epic Records in conjunction with the Estate of Michael Jackson, will release the much-anticipated new album MICHAEL"

The SONGS are produced by Michael. Not the album.

Some of the songs weren't meant to be finished until the last few months

First, it's important where did this information come from. Is it from an official source?
