 "Fall Again" was originally written by Walter Afanasieff and Robin Thicke for Michael Jackson's Invincible album to compose, but didn't make it on the track list. However, a demo of the song by Michael Jackson was later released on the Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection CD set, which was released back in November of 2004.

:cry: This is one of those songs that I can't listen to because it evokes too much emotion, like tears and re-living 6/25 all over again.  There are a few songs that I am not ready to get back to yet.  This is one of them.  In time, just not now.

Oh this song, it is one of my very favourites!
Not only because it is so beautifully sung and arranged, but also because of it's hoax references (IMO) and the break at the end, the funny comment of Mike. Everytime I indulge myself in melancholy, I have to laugh out at that point, because I hear the joker in it.

I said hoax references because I imagine that "you" could be replaced by "the fans" and the whole composition could be speaking of an anticipated absence of Michael (hoax already planned in 2001), it's way of being carried out ("die in my sleep")and his wish to come back and to have a new start (to fall again).
