Well, It has his style of singing, but it doesn't really sound like him singing. It is still very catchy though, and the line "Just when you thought he was done. he comes to give it again" is interesting. :D

My opinion is this:

"Breaking News" is a song written by Michael Jackson. Produced by Teddy Riley. It contains gasps, hiccups, and screams sampled recorded from Michael Jackson. However, the vocals are those of Jason Malachi. If you've heard this before, there's a reason. Listen to this:

[youtube:3fke1jem]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5DCJHdsi7Q[/youtube:3fke1jem]

If you are a naysayer and think it's just a conspiracy theory that it isn't Michael singing, and that it's just Michael experimenting or using a low tone, it seems extremely conclusive that the voice in the song by Jason Malachi, "Let Me Let Go" is identical to those heard in Breaking News. The "Hee hee hee..." at 3:34 just put a bad taste in my mouth. By this point it is extremely obvious it's a fraud, which is strange that this would need to be done since Mike has hundreds of songs he never released. I'm sure at least a good chunk of those have finished vocals. Either way, I'd say this puts an interesting spin on the hoax, for better or worse.

It is interesting, though. I think, regretfully, how this might sound with Michael's vocals. It's definitely clear that this is a vintage Michael Jackson beat, no doubt about that.

I\'m a MJ fan and conspiracy buff who thinks there might actually be something to the hoax... but I am not obsessed with him nor am I some type of homosexual stalker. lol

While I was completely prepared to hear Michael, Jason Malachi is who I instantly thought of when I heard the song for the first time.

Indeed. I also stumbled upon something that I found a bit alerting...

So, I decided to Google "Jason Malachi" with a filter for results from the past 2 days...

So, I clicked this link:

And this is what it told me:
http://img294.imageshack.us/i/jm2.png/

I'd say that's very suspicious. Since when was it against copyright to discuss the vocals of a song? I watched the video earlier, and it didn't contain any snippets or anything from the song itself! It was just the user talking about the song. Very, very strange. Cover-up maybe? Hmmm...

In addition, why is Sony looking through all the videos about it to know about it in the first place?   Even if the video did contain the song in its entirety, it would be no different than listening on the website. Sony stands to gain nothing from "protecting" the copyright of the song.

If you don't believe me, try it yourself:

what i listened to (i wouldn't say this is my favorite style) made me think of that tape of blanket repeating michael jackson over and again that one time a while back. or did my brain make it up  :?

And just to add more fuel to the confusion there is Blanket's viseo "boy mining nose" and the oprah bit today of him wiping his nose on his hand before shaking hers.  :?

Dudes! This is 10000% NOT Michael singing!
I don't know how sony can be that stupid. There is special equipment (like police use) to identify the voice.
Voice is like finger prints. You cant copy it for 100% no matter what you do.
But with this song it is obvious, absolutely obvious.
BTW, the song has no MJ's magic. It's cheap. I'm sick of it. I don't want to hear it ever in my life. I hope it's not going to charts.
How Sony could risk their reputation?

P.S. Now read carefully.
Michael Jackson is dead (untill I heard "Breaking news" I believed he was alive).
Michael Jackson would never release a song like this, because it's not a hit song. I'm sure that Michael Jackson would never even release "This is it" song, because it's raw.
Michael Jackson (it doesn't matter for what reason) would never release not his own song on his album.
You ask me why sony release "Breaking news", if they have tons of real Michael's music?
There's only one reason. Here is the answer - to manipulate the believers. To make the believers think that Michael is alive and he tries to tell the fans not to believe the press and he's alive. while people believe MJ is alive they will buy everything and wait for more.

Now read: SONY knows about expected BAM, so they called the song and the album this way to create a word BAM. Actually to make you create this word, because you see clues everywhere.

WAKE UP! Something really bad is going on!
Take off pink glasses!

Sony have a lot of money to pay people for stories, to create clues, to hire best PR specialists to create a legend.
It's like with Elvis. Michael Jackson has to stay alive (in someone's head), because it's always happens with real pop icon. The legend has to live.
Michael Jackson is a product of publicity. The man died, but pop icon lives, and sony work on it.

You can ban me, I don't care. I have been here since first days and I truly hoped for good. But this time we have to realize it - Michael is gone. All we can do is to stop this madness and finally help the truth to come out.

L.O.V.E. you all

What is it with that childish "You can ban me"? That is really getting on my nerves. It's your opinion and I don't share it. If you think he's dead, good for you. Go on with your life and return to the fanforum, but don't make childish comments like that. Just because it's your opinion, doesn't make it the truth.

I must be really stupid but I absolutely LOVE the song. In fact I can't stop listening to it.
In fact I want to stand up and dance to it.

As about Sony, I think especially this should make us think.....do you really think they would risk their reputation with a fake? There HAS to be something more behind. JMO.

Do you think they care for fooling a bunch of believers? Are we THAT important to them? Look around, we are just a few, just a few left..... How many dvd's can we buy?

The non-believers are much much much many than us.

I would tell you not to lose your faith and think why should Sony promote an obvious fake. Just like you said they won't risk their reputation  ;)

Agree with u, i absolutely love the song, yeah, it's not another "Billie Jean" or "Earth song" but it's an awesome song which i can listen to repeatedly.
About sony- maybe there are "some clues" that are given to us by Sony and TMZ, cause it's obvious that TMZ follows this form, but they didn't create DAVE-DAVE on LKL, he was real and it was him(i'm almost sure of it), so i'm not losing my faith yet.

..I Asked Kenny about "Michael's voice or not"...I wanted to have his point of view ...

Me:Kenny please, can you give us your point of view about "Breaking News"..you know what's going on with the fans right??God bless you, always

Kenny Ortega: this is well voice Michael Jackson
We must stop this rumor .

Someone answered:This is well voice Michael Jackson? So you are saying that this IS his voice? even though family members are saying it's not? I think some parts are his vocals, but some parts defenitly not...seconds vocals and editing his work.. Don't you think his lifetime and hard work Sony is trying to ruin that? By playing this game.. I really don't know what to believe anymore..

I really don't think it's Michael,i can't recognize,even the ho ho

I was gonna say that sounded like a weird way for him to answer that question! :)
