CONVINCING OTHERS OF THE HOAX

I have to share this with you all. I went to a party yesterday to celebrate my nephew's 30th birthday at his house and there were many family members and friends there celebrating. I was sitting down on the side of my niece and her husband when she loudly asked me about an email I sent her to join a forum about Michael Jackson (this forum) and about Michael faking his death. When she said that it was like everyone just stopped what they were doing to listen to me explain. At first I was embarrassed at everyone just staring at me to see how I was going to explain this one.  So I took a deep breath and just dove into everything that I learnt about the hoax, all the indiscrepencies and the whole sha bang and I'm thinking these people must think I'm nuts but as I began explaining, the questions just started coming at me.  They were very interested in hearing what I had to say. At the end of the conversation many of them wanted to know where they could find all this information and the name of the forum that I joined up. I told them about the videos on youtube about the hoax and I gave them this forum. They were so intrigued that they wanted to read all this information themselves. I think I made believers out of most if not all of them so I am proud to know that they didnt think I was that crazy and hopefully many of them will be on our Michael Hoax bandwagon.

wow.. you had a pretty big courage to do this in front of many people. It's very good to hear that people who weren't aware of anything got interested in what you were telling them and want to search more...

Great job mopey - I think people are now more open to hearing the possibilities, for whatever reason. Maybe because the emotions aren't so raw. My family all know that I beLIEve and they openly say so to others in a non-judgmental way but nobody has been won over...yet. I am waiting though because the opportunity will come up again and I will be sure to make new information known to them. Blessings

I think in the beginning it was kinda should I or should I not and at first I was really skeptical about talking about it but my friends and family know that I dont usually say anything or try to make a point unless I have something concrete to back it up and of course they know that I'm not cuckoo so I thought that if it is coming from me I must have some evidence or logical explanation for saying what I did and so they really listened and began asking me questions about it.  My niece really started to listen the only thing she was really questioning was Dr. Murray and the whole trial and court case, she wanted to know if Michael did fake his death why would they allow Murray to go through the whole trial thing and I tried to explain the best way I could and it seemed as if she started to understand but she said she was really interested in going and researching herself and checking out this forum, along with quite a few others who were there.  So I'm glad that I wasnt called cuckoo in front of everyone that day.
