"The album cover of MICHAEL was created by painter Kadir Nelson; the oil painting, created in 2009, takes us on a journey through some key moments and important people in Michael Jackson’s life."

Sorry Mr. Nelson for my critics...

What important people? All I see is Michael everywhere... And two monsters, and one dancer from Beat it, and Sindy Lauper (if I'm right). (Who are the two men on the We Are The World poster?)

Okay, I enlarged it. There is a white boy behind Beat It-Michael, and two POLICEMEN on the right.

I believe that Martin Luther King's image is above michael's "off the wall" picture.

Is the flag the moon guy is planting on the moon the MTV flag? Just throwing it out there....
In the bubble to the right of the tiger's ear is that Prince's love symbol????

I had the same thought...
In a german forum, someone mentioned that the zombie on the left side of the picture (looking over MJs right shoulder) reminds her of James Brown.   What do you think?

Akon on MJ, May 2009]The way he thinks....some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It\'s on another level...

I don't see anything above Michael's Off the wall picture, just the sky...
Oh, okay, in the other thread the photo of the album cover is wider on the left. (But on the right many things are left from that one!!!) And I see someone who really looks like MLK! Thanks!

Welllll - I don't think it's nice to admit it but there is really a resemblence.
Before I checked it I was just laughing on the idea, sorry, because it sounded so ridiculous. Anyway, it's quite disrespectful if it really shows James Brown.

And again, only old images of MJ are used. Only pics of him up to and including the Dangerous era, nothing from HIStory, Invincible or the past couple of years...
I find that kind of insulting and annoying. Yeah, there were more doubles then, we get it- but is it so impossible to use a nice, newer picture? It's not like none exist, is it? For gosh's sake..

 • To die would be an awfully big adventure.
Why the name of the new album is only Michael? Where did Jackson go? It's only Michael like the Archangel? Hmm here's some info about Archangel Michael:

-"He is viewed as the field commander of the Army of God."<<<Army of LOVE>>>

-"He is mentioned by name in the Book of Daniel" <<<Book of Eli?>>>

-"In the book of Daniel, Michael appears as "one of the chief princes" <<<Prince the singer?>>> (Also in one of the bubbles, there's Prince's sign, plus Prince's first concert is on the same day with MJ's album release.)

-Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-day Adventists, and certain New Age Christian denominations refer to Michael as the Christ Michael, or Christ before he became man." <<< Resurrection>>>

Here's the picture from the album cover and Prince.

Is good to laugh sometimes ;)

MJ saw himself as a King in his art. He was in the 90´s proclaimed the King of an African city and E.Taylor proclaimed him the King of Pop.

We saw Nelson de la Nuez Donut Queen, being crowned the same way, by  2 angels. Now this other Nelson is crowning Michael. Could this be duality of some sort? black and white? male and female? king and Queen? ying and yang?

so interesting idea.... black and white, male and female, ying and yang..... if someone can embody this, Michael is the one  :D

I like the title of the song "breaking news" have to listen, then calmly reading the news seems a contradiction that Katherine and children "say" Michael's voice is not what is heard and the song can be heard on the site "official" MichaelJackson.com 8-)

Another contradiction in the line.
