I know very well who Jordan is. But I doubt that when someone hears about MJ they first think  about Michael Jordan.
Can someone tell me then what does Jordan have to to with the subject "wayne got out of jail"?  I guess....  nothing? Why mentioning Jordan (excuse me.. MJ) in that article when Wayne on his twitter didn't say anything about jordan? Just for the sake of writing MJ in an article about come back? perhaps

Read the article again, its clear as day. Jordan took out a full page ad in a chicago newspaper saying  "I'm Back" when he came out of retirement.

A sports fan would understand this cleary, Weezy doesnt have say he's talking about Jordan most of his followers probably know where that comes. Besides, TMZ drew that conclusion, Weezy might jus be talking to his followers, not knowing Jordan used that phrase for his return.

Everyone is hanging onto every would TMZ says like its gold. It not that difficult to understand. TMZ is probably throwing in an MJ reference just for the F of it.

The article says channeling MICHAEL JORDAN, not MJ. Its clear their not talking about Mike, as in Michael Jackson. If they wanted to mislead they would have said "Channeling MJ".

Well I had no idea about that. So probably not all the people will immediately connect "I'm back" with Michael Jordan. Nor did I know that Wayne was a sport fan.

It is clearily put (by TMZ) as to create confusion. And if they do this just for the sake of making fun of us I think they enjoy every laugh they have on us. Probably they can't give up the idea of laughing on our backs, probably they enjoy it like hell and that's why they keep up with it after 16 months.

I disagree. I think TMZ plays a big role in this and they are definitely on Mike's side. Of course they enjoy some laughs, but they are laughing with us not at us because they know the truth as well. This is my opinion based on all the research we've done here. Of course you are entitled to yours as well.

Also, you are right, not everyone would understand the Lil Wayne/Michael Jordan thing. But they did explain themselves in the article so it should be clear even if one isn't familiar with either.

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare. It isn't. It's the beginning.

I feel you completely. I'm sure our MJ is callin most of the shots in regards to articles about him. But the pple @ TMZ probably did this knowing what kind of reaction it would get, trynna get a good laugh. We're following tabloid junk too closely. I understand MJ involvement with TMZ, but at the end of that day TMZ is still tabloid junk.

As an avid Michael Jordan fan I can tell you all fans most certainly do and did call him MJ all throughout his iconic Bulls run and that was the irony of Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan doing JAM together, the 2 MJs side by side. Michael Jackson admires the daylights out of the other MJ and there is nothing wrong with calling someone by their initials.

Actually, I read "MJ" and thought of Michael Jackson. Then I was like "What, MJ returned to the bulls in 1995? What the heck does that mean? :?" and when i finished I was like "What does Michael Jordan have to do with this?" Thennnn I realized that by "MJ" they meant Michael Jordan.

well, what I wanted to say is that TMZ did it on purpose for sure. Because they already know people watch every article not only the Michael related ones.

I am sorry but I can't get out of my head the image of their faces laughing their asses of while posting such articles and the hoax addressed ones. The media already trashed him, why would they be the good intentioned ones?

This makes me wanna scream
