It took a little longer than we expected -- about 6 hours and 40 minutes -- but Lil Wayne has already dropped his first tweet since leaving prison ... and it wreaks of Michael Jordan.

Back when MJ returned to the Bulls in 1995, dude released a two word press release that simply read, "I'm back" .... and since Weezy is such a huge sports nut (and not crazy about grammar) we're guessing he took his cue from His Royal Airness.

Either way, he's baaaaaakkkkkkk!

For god's sake... They make this whole article about "coming back", about Michael Jordan but they write MJ - I don't think someone knows Michael Jordan as being MJ, ask everyone in this world about MJ and their answer will be Michael Jackson. Did they need to write Michael's Jordan's name as MJ? When they always write Michael Jackson's name as MJ on TMZ? Is this making fun of us? They feel like fucking with us or what's this? And one thing I don't get either is why they make an article about Michael Jordan? Lil Wayne didn't write anything on his twitter about Jordan  related to the fact that he got out of jail .  So what's this? Did TMZ need to include Jordan just for the excuse of writing MJ there besides "I'm back?". I am angry because I kinda feel them like making fun

sorry, but this as nothing to do with michael Jackson. People always called him Michael Jordan or AIR-MJ. Its a nickname for him back in the 90's when he was winning all those titles for my city: Chi-town 8-)

what does Michael Jordan have to do with the subject? The guy didn't twitt to Michael Jordan. Again a totle without connection? I don't understand. And they had to write MJ? when they know very well that people call Michael Jackson MJ and not Michael Jordan.

I know it has nothing to do. I just notice TMZ is having a lot of fun  writing an article about coming back and talking about Jordan as  MJ. And more, what on earth does Jordan have to to with Wayne getting out of jail?! Nothing! TMZ just wanted to have a bit of fun.  How funny, TMZ, how funny. I'm sick of it already, to be honest

Really? I had no ideea. And it still looks out of sense to write MJ there. I really didn't know that people referred to Jordan with MJ.

MJordan has been MJ for over 20 years.

Jordan the greatest bball ever, Jackson the greatest entetainer ever. Jordan costarred in Mike's "Jam" video (which we all know). There are  MJ-MJ connections, just not with this article (imo).

I know very well who Jordan is. But I doubt that when someone hears about MJ they first think  about Michael Jordan.
Can someone tell me then what does Jordan have to to with the subject "wayne got out of jail"?  I guess....  nothing? Why mentioning Jordan (excuse me.. MJ) in that article when Wayne on his twitter didn't say anything about jordan? Just for the sake of writing MJ in an article about come back? perhaps

I think this is definitely a clue to our MJ. Yes, Michael Jordan is called MJ as well, but come on. Why even write an article about this if not to give us a clue, it's so uninteresting at face value. Plus there's the "MJ Air" thing in TII... and "His Royal Airness", Michael Jackson is also "Royal" as in the KING of Pop. And yes, the JAM video of them together... anytime someone says "MJ" they say, "Jackson or Jordan"?  But of course maybe I'm wrong.

So, he's back huh? Perhaps we are getting closer... we have to be getting closer!

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare. It isn't. It's the beginning.

I think they are finding every opportunity to give us clues. They probably saw this tweet, thought of when Michael Jordan said "I'm back", and saw that as a chance to write an article for US because they knew we'd see the connection. Otherwise I see no point to the article, so this has to be it.

I think it's a clue in relation to the hoax too Jaci.  Look at the first line of the article,
"It took a little longer than we expected "...how many predicted BAM dates have come and gone?  TMZ knows this as they follow our site daily so it could very well be a reference to that.
I think tomorrow (Remember remember the fifth of November) will be pretty big "clue" day on TMZ...

Guys, I'm still looking at the article and at the twitt and still find no connection between the article about Lil Wayne and Michael Jordan. The guy didn't even mention Jordan in his twitt, where did that come from?

Back when MJ returned to the Bulls in 1995, dude released a two word press release that simply read, "I'm back"

That is what Michael Jordan released to the press when he retured to the Bulls.

Lil Wayne just got out of jail, and the first and only thing he said (although not in proper grammar as mentioned) is "I'm back".

And Lil Wayne is known for loving sports, so it is likely that he was sort of imitating Michael Jordan.

That is the connection, hope that helps!

This is supposed to be the connection between Michael Jordan's press release and L'il Wayne's Tweet:

"Back when MJ returned to the Bulls in 1995, dude released a two word press release that simply read, "I'm back" .... and since Weezy is such a huge sports nut (and not crazy about grammar) we're guessing he took his cue from His Royal Airness."
