what about the keys in bad video

hey everyone
 this just popped in my head so i thought i would share it.
did anyone of you ever wonder what those keys were for michael wore around his belt in bad video?i wonder if they meant anything or belonged to anything or he just wore them.
i cant remember seeing him wear them in anything else
is it strange or is it just me that thinks this

Maybe that was part of his show. Bad relates to hoodlums,  bikers, etc. So by having the chain with keys it represents bad.. This my opinion. Blessings
