lol I don't think it does. They thought the article stopped there but in truth you have to pay to access the rest of the article. Easy mistake to make  :)

I think it's alluding to him being alive by first saying he was in "fine voice" which means good health, and then the "..." at the end meaning it's sort of a mystery but we should be able to figure it out. It's like a "guess what should come next" type of thing and can only be used when the audience can easily guess what is being alluded too.
