Siedah Garrett

The woman who wrote the anthem "Man In The Mirror" paid a nice tribute to MJ - and said she has no dirt to feed to the media about MJ:

I like her rendition of the song... Not trying to compare it to MJ's, of course, which I consider amazing.  I just think she's a classy woman who paid a classy tribute.

I saw that last year! Such a nice rendition! I happened to be watching Michael Beckwith's show on PBS that night, when she performed. =D

Thank you so much for sharing this. It's timing is better than you may know.

This was so beautiful but it was her words that brought tears to my eyes. God bless her for her courage of conviction to stand up for what is right and for not buckling under the pressure of the almighty dollar or the need to be in front of the camera. Blessings.

She's a very classy lady. Her song is still one of my faves by MJ. We can all learn something from this song.
I notice the troll and their attempt to do such harm to a forum of people who are here because of a man whose heart was so full of love and kindness for all mankind.
Makes you understand why MJ have have faked his death. It seems those who are negative have so much more time and motivation than those of us who want peace.

Sorry for the rant and going OT.

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

I couldn't know about the timing, voiceforthesilent, but am happy to hear!  I too was very moved when Siedah stood tall and said she has nothing negative to say about Michael... We all need to be reassured, sometimes, that people like her still exist!  Siedah herself made a significant gift to humankind, as "suspicious mind" here said.  MITM is a very special song.

Blessings to all!  Take care.
