Katherine Jackson has formally filed court documents objecting to the amount of money Debbie Rowe is seeking from Michael Jackson's estate.

Rowe is seeking close to $200,000 in attorney's fees she says were incurred as a result of the custody case involving Michael Jackson's children after the King Of Pop died last year.

Katherine Jackson's family law attorney, Diane Goodman states in court docs, "petitioner (Katherine Jackson), contends that the amount of fees requested by Debbie Rowe is not reasonable."

The filing adds, "Wherefore, Petitioner requests that the petition for Approval for Attorney's Fees be denied if determined by the court to be unreasonable. Other relief be granted that the court deems just and proper."

Rowe is represented by Eric George, who also was Oksana Grigorieva's attorney in the early stages of the custody battle with Mel Gibson over their infant daughter, Lucia.

A hearing is set for September 8, 2010, to determine how much money George will get for his work with Rowe.

Nice post! BTW...remember, this is the same woman that basically sold her children! Rowe is inexplicably unbelievably, money hungry IMHO simply put. She granted MJ full custody and now that he is "supposedly" no longer there for them she comes back for another piece of MJ's pie :shock:. Unbelievable!

What a piece of work! Whatever money she needs to pay for a mindless suite filed against the Jackson Estate ...needs to be pulled outta her a$$! :lol:

Didn't we read around Michael's birthday that Debbie had been visiting the kids?  Reading this makes me think that this is not the case.  $200,000 does seem to be a lot of money, especially since Michael had full custody of the kids.  No wonder he chose a surrogate for Blanket (I've never believed in the secret ex (or not!) girlfriend giving birth to Blanket and then passing him on to Michael).

Yes we did, it was around the time Katherine was talking about her book. I was waiting for Debbie to show her true colors.  It sounded too good to be true.  I don't have any harsh feelings about her having visitation with the children; however she doesn't fit the mode of motherhood in my opinion.  But I could just feel there was gonna be some money involved in why she was getting chummie with Katherine.  Katherine is an easy mark. Sad but true. :(

What kind of a mother is this person? She first sold her children, than when Mj died she brought Katherine to court so she can have custody of her children. With an alterior  motive. MONEY.. Now she should have minded her own business not to go to court and she wouldn't be in this predigament, NOW PAY UP MISS ROWE. Why should you demand money from Katherine. Wow. that does not surprise me
