Glenn Beck's rally at Lincoln Memorial 08/28

Tomorrow will be Glenn Beck's rally at the Lincoln Memorial. Although I have been told he is quite of the drama queen, I think he has interesting things to say. He says is will be historical, so I am curious as to what they will do tomorrow. Is there someone who can record it so I can watch it later?

Souza I am glad you mentioned this rally today...last night I stayed awake watching YT videos on Glenn Beck and what this rally is about.  With Sharpton now calling his own rally/march, I have had such a dreadful, unsettled feeling in the pit of my stomach!  I pray I am wrong and that there will be no clashes, only peace, love and a feeling of unity among us all...but I am only human surrounded by pessimism   !

I think some of the comments made have been taken out of context.  Glenn Beck recently had MLK's neice and her pastor on his show with him.  She supports what he is doing whole heartedly.  Please take a look at Beck's show that aired on Friday before the rally.  It will shed more light.  The fight he is calling for is to stand up to the lies  and gaff the mainstream media and politicians around the world have been spewing out on us.  It is not a call to fight against peace or MLK's message.  Beck supports everything Martin Luther King stood for.  Al Sharpton is the one that is raising hell about it because Beck is not black.  Go back and watch what he has said about it on his shows.

I watch Beck on a regular basis.  I am amazed  at how his message and what he is actually doing is being twisted and misconstrued.  I was raised in a political household.  My father was involved in DC politics all his life.  This kind of thing goes on all the time.  Mud slinging to take away from what is actually happening or being said.  This is what MJ experienced all his life.  Assail a person with lies so no one sees what he is actually doing.  People unfortunately remember the lies and accusations and never seem to dig for the real truth.

Try watching a few of Beck's shows before you make a decision.  Think for yourselves!

Arizona's immigration law is not racist.  It does not state or take on any more authority than the federal immigration law does.  The only reason Obama's administration brought a law suit against the state for the passed law was for political grand standing.  Arizona only passed the law to try to force the current administration into enforcing a federal law that was already on the books. If he would enforce the law the problems in the boarder states would stop.  They have been crying "racism" about the law to draw in the Latino vote because he has lost most of the support of the rest of the nation.  It has been erronously reported that law enforcement can demand identification and "green papers" from anyone they encounter.  This is not true.  They can only ask for these things if the person has been stopped for a violation of another law. Identification is demanded of anyone that has broken a law, even before this law was passed.  It's a mute point!

I can understand your thoughts but please don't pass judgment on the Arizona law before doing your research. If a person commits a crime and is never brought to justice for his/her actions, is the deed still a crime? If I come to your country without having the proper paperwork in order is it okay to just say "I'm here so I get to stay"?

The rally is about restoring honor in America.  He and many others believe the forefathers of the USA were given a mandate for this nation by God.  He believes we have fallen short of that mandate and are way off course.  He is calling the nation to review our history, think for yourselves, don't take everything you hear from the media and politicians as the truth.
