Quote from: "chloead505"I'm wondering if it's really true that the way they charged him is not legally valid. It was discussed in another forum. I'm a continental-system lawyer, not an expert on US criminal law so I can't confirm that. But it did sound plausible. And if it is true then inevitably they're gonna have to dismiss it or just free him of the charges utterly at some stage. And since you can't be charged for the same thing twice then...voila ;)
Murray surely doesn't seem like someone who's scared of being indicted for homicide
Hi - this sounds interesting. Can you share more about what was discussed? How could it be that he wasn't charged legally? Thank you for your time.
Hi again, took me some time to find the thread but here you go :) :

Tell me what you think about it, the post is from May and I'm not entirely up to date with the Murray case so I don't know whether this issue has come up in court already. But according to what's in that post, it should be impossible to proceed with the trial... :?:
Oh, wait..I can see there're some later posts from August confirming the invalidity of the charge  Sounds good to me!! ;)
