"There was always film or videotape rolling during the rehearsals, and we ran the complete show a bunch of times," she said. "They were recording mostly so Michael could study and work on things - he was quite the perfectionist. And the thinking was, a documentary would come out of it that would be the bonus for a videodisc of the complete London concert. It's something the way they patched together performances of songs from different rehearsals. And watching it still shocks me, that he's no longer here."

Erm, I thought there were things they never got to rehearse, like Dirty Diana? Wasn't that said? How could they run the "complete show" if it wasn't even finished?

only thing she wasnt the only person to say that the full show was ran through... i think one of the dancers said it.

but im suprised that there is actually nobody like Kenny or Travis denying that the full show was done and fully recorded, and yet we were only shown half of what was actually done....

am i being selfish that i want to see all the footage of the rehersals  :lol:  i wouldnt even mind if the off chance that the audio isnt great or that mike had an off day  :lol:

i read or heard (on here or youtube maybe interviews).. not sure which one that dirty diana was suppose to be rehearsed on the 25th.. so they didn't do it.. then there was a video of someone with their phone or something saying this is dirty diana live and holding it outside some doors or a shutter.. (its on here somewhere)

THEN there was that video on youtube its on here somewhere again (sorry havent got the threads)  of loads of clips that no-one had seen before including the plane at the end (MJ AIR).. and they apparently got it from KENNY ORTEGA and i'm sure dirty diana was on their with the airealist (sorry for the spelling)

what my point is.. if it was rehersal.. who cares if it was a rubbish first time round or last time.. we got to see rehersals anyway..  remember what he said

unless thay are planning to sell more footage as the years go by.. who knows  :roll:

Am I hearing Orianthi correctly?  Does she say This Is It will give us insite about how much work went into the film and how incredible the show WILL BE?   I was wondering if anyone else hears this, maybe her accent makes me not understand her correctly.   Is she saying that there will still be an "incredible show" even after the This is it film?  Or is she referring to the This is it film as the "incredible show"'?

well...who knows....the thing i am sure is that "this is it" was not a rehearsal documentary but a film...but it's a pity because from the film i am sure the concert "this is it" woulde be  very amazing and mj's costumes superb...
