Will against new Jackson album

Will.i.am knows the industry. We all know what happened when Michael was in cahoots with SONY.
You can make a great statement if all MJ-fans support Will.i.am. and boycott the new album.
I 'm not gonna buy it.
And don't worry about Michael's kids, They wont be hungry.
So... i still say  *&^%  SONY.

It has nothing to do with the kids being hungry. If you believe MJ hoaxed his death, do you think he was stupid enough to not make sure his songs and his legacy were well taken care of? If you think the Sony deal is bad then you have to believe MJ is not in control and I think differently. He has the biggest record deal ever and he gets to do it without the pressure of touring or having those record execs down his back. He's in control and he knows what he's doing when he went into business with Sony

I think you guys are right. How well his albums did meant so much to MJ. It was a measurement of fan love for him. It's also a way for us to feel more of his message to us, through his new music. As is the case for so much of this hoax, what Will.I.Am said might be intended to be taken the in the opposite way. Reverse psychology. Create controversy, better sales. Whatever happened to all that don't see TII by the TINI group. It probably motivated more people to go. I can hardly wait to buy the album!!

Michael only released 6 studio albums as an adult you know... He is a perfectionist to the extreme, every song on every album was and is perfection.

We've all heard some of the leaked songs already (some probably will be on the new album, unfortunately).

Let me list some of them for you!

So yeah, this album will probably lack the soul of Michael's other 6 albums but it will still be the best album of the year!

After seeing what Will.I.Am had to say about this album I admit it made me think about some things in a different way...then again maybe he does not believe in the hoax? In that case I'd feel differently about it, but since I obviously believe Michael is here then the release of his album must be under his control and it's something he has given the okay for. I always love hearing Michael's voice on new tracks. It'll be like when the Michael Jackson: Ultimate Collection was released and all those un-released songs were on it! I also believe it's not because Michael didn't perfect them, just because there was not enough room. So I will be buying the album I highly doubt that the majority of the people that buy this will think of it as "supporting Sony" they do it because they're supporting MJ. Same with TII. In my opinion when those TINI people tried to tell people that "real fans" will boycott the movie, that was just ridiculous  :? they kind of came across as lunatics, sorry if that offends anyone, but I just could not take them seriously.

That's exactly what I was thinking.....doesn't MJ own a huge portion of Sony?  How do we know he hasn't been working on this project for the last year?  Will be interesting to see just what is on this album.....might be like the Beatle's albums Abbey Road and Sgt. Peppers years ago that were full of clues about Paul McCartney being gone.....   Should be interesting

It's only going to be mostly full of material that we've all all heard before because it's been leaked on the internet, so I'm not going to be wasting money on it when I can easily download the couple of tracks on the album that I don't have for free.

Just a thought: What if the songs were leaked on the net by Michael because this is how he tries to stop people buying the album from Sony? Maybe more new songs from the album will get on the internet before the release date...

on one hand i look forward to Michael's new songs cause i love everything he does, even if those songs are not a big deal, i still want to have them, i'm so sure that they are as awesome as other songs of his, simply cause he is Michael Jackson-a true genius and his songs cannot  be bad, so if we all still think that this is a hoax then M.J. is certainly behind all  this, he is much more powerful and smart then we all think,i truly think that he controles everything and if this new album is released then i have no doubt it's what Michael wants to(cause is still believe that he is alive and controls what's going on)

funny how mostly through this forum everybody can't wait to hear anything that has mike's name on there and after will.i.am's statement, minds change...we all know that, as of now, anything we'll get to hear regarding new music will come from sony. so those ppl now sayin' 'i'm not buying' will get it somewhere else anyway. i'm doubting statements like: I don't wanna hear it cuz it comes from sony'. it comes from mike first, sony is only releasing it. i admit, that's bad enough, but you just can't help it at the moment. unless by some kind of magic, new material happens to be released on another label or otherwise...  

i agree with those sayin' 'who knows if mike isn't behind all this'? furthermore, if this hoax is still going as planned, it was clear that any unreleased material would be exploited anyway. and given that everything happening in this hoax is orchestrated by mike, this release will be as well. and yes, i think exposure is a great part of all this as well and this might just be one more vehicle to expose sony business.  
i do agree with will when he says that you can't release anything unapproved. but who's to argue but mike? mike's not around to approve (unless he left the stuff to be released as is on purpose, so it would count as 'pre-approved'   ), so this is only a logical development.
