The point is, this guy told how he dressed Michael for his funeral and how he had to carry his body into the coffin and some believers asked him about the trash cans in some of the areas?        Sorry guys but what were you thinking?

I seriously do not understand why some people insist on asking questions about the hoax to some people who are very opposed to the idea of the hoax like Karen Faye, Michael Bush etc. Isn't their answer so predictable? Why need to ask them? Anyways, according to Bush's reply, we're as stupid as the ones who used trash bins as a cooler in the King of Pop's funeral.

This board drives me bananas. You have a list of people posting comments and some people have logical explanations for things.. like someone posted how UNUSED, CLEAN, NEW trashcans ARE used for ice and drinks aka water, and then someone comes along four posts later and starts saying something much like the trashcans were unsanitary. Why oh why does people not read other people's posts and if they do, do they just ignore them?

A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is just putting on its shoes.

I think the point folks are trying to make is that no matter how new, clean, sanitary they were, they are still trash cans....not Jackson style at all.  I have never seen or heard of trash cans being used in this way...clean or otherwise.  A few posts ago, I commented it made no sense to have them out in front of Carolwood.......it wasn't a planned event.....supposedly.  I also have been asking for a link to this facebook page, so we can read it.....can anyone post it?  I don't do facebook...I knowww, cave-person I am

Thanks!
Blessings!

New trash cans have been used to hold ice/water bottles/soda cans/beer kegs, but only at a party, picnic, BBQ or some other totally informal gathering (I live in the U.S.).  I highly doubt Forest Lawn would use them for this purpose.  Besides, 2MuchMJLov already posted that at a recent funeral he/she attended at FL, they had their own water bottles in styrofoam ice chests.  I think this thread has sufficiently answered both issues:  Michael Bush is lying - BADLY, and most people have never seen ice in a trash can unless they live in the U.S.  Moving on...

I am positive that if my family was having an elaborate funeral for me and many celebrities would be attending, it would be appropriate to serve them their beverages from garbage cans new or old. Especially if this was televised to millions of people all over the world. Makes sense?  ;)

Perfect sence to me ;)

Oh goodness one year on and we are still discussing the "garbage cans" there must be more to life than this!

edit : just realised Michael wrote a song about this "there must be more to life than this! just seems appropriate "why do we go into such depth" over such trivia when we should be trying to spread his message!

Michael Jackson There Must Be More to Life Than This Lyrics:

There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
How do we cope in a world without love
Mending all those broken hearts
And tending to those crying faces

There must be more to life than living
A better way for us to survive
Why should it be just a case of black or white
There must be more to life than this

Why is this world so full of hate
People dying everywhere

And we destroy what we create
People fighting for their human rights
But we just go on saying c'est la vie
So this is life

There must be more to life than killing
There must be more than meets the eye
What good is life, if in the end we all must die
There must be more to life than this

There must be more to life than killing
There must be more to life than this
I live in hope for a world filled with love
Then we can all just live in peace

There must be more to life, much more to life
There must be more to life, more to life than this
Lyrics: There Must Be More to Life Than This, Michael
Jackson [end]

Just Sayin  ;)

water on ice? in a trashcan?

yeah , thats really gross. why not just get a cooler, or something more sanitary than a trashcan
That was what I was thinking.  If it is that hot to need that MUCH water on ice why not put it in coolers.  Plus if it was that hot the ice would have melted quickly, and if I remember correctly they where at the funeral for a long time!  They would have to keep emptying out the melted ice and putting more in!

You are hilarious!
Now, maybe if those cans were gold plated with lots of bling....maybe Ed Hardy style?

I was just wondering, if there are any photos of celebrities at the funeral getting served cold drinks out of the trash can-coolers.  Thank you in advance. :)

You rocked my world, you know you did
And everything I own I give
The rarest love who\'d think I\'d find
