To spread the message that Michael hoaxed his death, just as Elvis did is an interesting challenge as most people just cannot see much further than their current reality; so what do we need to do?

1. Target different audience in different ways
Believers in either Elvis or MJ faked death through messages/links on existing members websites
MJ Fans through friendly messages left on forums/websites/you tube...etc
Broader audience through news articles (targetted publications) - TMZ does come to mind as a prime target as this site is already on the Blogroll.

2.Use different communication media to best suit the audience

3.Adapt the message to suit the audience
For Example, non believers need to be educated and gradually brought in - You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login would be too much initially and achieve very little I believe.
in the ideal world, spreading the message would be much easier if we had a "breaking news" to share! Something preferably MJ related that nobody could refute. (Mike, a bit of help?    TS, a bit of help?   )

Those are my thoughts on this late evening.... and for sure the Army of Love would need to be mobilised to do all of this.

HI! Nevrozay - Harvey just explains how TMZ gathers and uses information. He says that TMZ takes information from many different sources and angles, and publish things very quickly, some small items, some big items and sometime they get the very big one, the breaking news! My intention was to re-enforce the message that TMZ would certainly be a realistic communication channel, more so as they have this site listed on their Blogroll.

You all might have noticed the Twitter thing didn't work out. Main reason is that we have a lot of people boycotting it and spreading hate towards us so that others are not participating either. I don't think starting a new rally will do the trick, not even if it's planned a month in advance, because that will only give the haters more time to spread videos as to why people should NOT join.

I do still think it's important to get You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login out there, and there are more ways to do that than using Twitter. If this hoax was meant to be a secret, he would have 'died' another way. This thread is for ideas to spread this without a trending topic on Twitter. Please share your ideas in this thread. It's a shame to see the hate between hoaxers, I am certain Mike would be disappointed to see where this is going. We signed up for the Army of L.O.V.E. so we should show we are willing to unite and make a change, not hate each other or even put each other in danger by digging into each other's personal life. The focus should be on the hoax and on Mike, not on our fellow hoax believers.

You are right---if MJ wanted this to be his secret escape or secret anywhich way, we wouldn'tve even HAD any clues to discover, digest, and document, delight in(!), and discuss here.

I believe MJ has something ELSE up his magic sleeve, which will compell the greedy you-know-whats to break the news, WHEN the REAL time comes... 8-)

That's a very interesting angle Its her,  hmmm ... so the media know all about the hoax but aren't saying anything because they don't want to play into MJ's hands? It's a possibility certainly, but they're motivated more by money than by playing games, and for sure, MJ news makes them loads of money.  They could be keeping quiet because they don't want to be forced into admitting all their past MJ related wrong doings when they're brought into the spotlight.

I tend to think they just don't know, because ironically, they believe their own stories!!

If TMZ ('helped' by us maybe?!) eventually come out with something explosive and the rest of the media don't pick it up and run with it, then we'll know your suspicions are correct.

Even though I have my doubts about your theory, I do like the way you've looked at this from a different standpoint. And out-loving them sounds like a great idea!

The media is like The Fonz in Happy Days- they know they were wrong but they can't say the words!!
The money they made on their slants and lies will be realized that it was all for money and no LOVE whatsoever. Which is fact.
They are playing the game and helping the plan in some ways, how many believe MJ is dead? The media made sure that all would believe. When things started to get going in too many directions is when we realized that there is no way the Most Famous Man in the World could have died. I've been here a long time and I am no fool. I wasn't a fool from many, many years back.
I think going back to the beginning, the O2 announcement is a great way to start. Those that argue that it wasn't MJ need to re-think, if that is what his purpose was. He accomplished the first act by confusing some real diehards. Normal every day people that think his music is cool probably don't give the footage another thought. But we did!

I was thinking, as a first step, to find a way to Google optimize the site elvisandmj.com, to receive a high ranking when people look for keywords such as "michael jackson" and "elvis" (but not only). This way we could get a high traffic on the site from all the MJ/Elvis fans and people who seek any kind of information about them. I know there is here a money-related problem, but I'm making a call to all the IT specialists around here, maybe we can make this work somehow. I also found a free Google website optimizer, but I honestly don't know how "demo" it is or if we can achieve our goals with it (and for how long): You are not allowed to view links. Please send your feedback and professional expertise on this, I think it is a good first step. Thanks!

Sorry if this has already been suggested (I don't have much time to read all the posts) but how about making a Facebook page for ElvisandMJ.
Millions of people use Facebook every day to keep up with friends, upload photos, share links and videos and there's a translations application. There are a few MJ Death Hoax pages but they don't have many followers. (Maybe they're not trying hard enough! :lol: Btw does this forum have one? :oops: ) However, the official Michael Jackson page has over 16 million followers and likewise Elvis Presley's page has over 800,000 followers so there's no doubt that people do follow them on Facebook.

Although I have a Facebook account I'm not an expert. I think it can be done by one of three different ways...either:

1. Create an Official page as a local business, brand, product or organisation, artist, band or public figure.
    This would have to be done by the official representative of the organisation.

2. Create a Community page to generate support for your favourite cause or topic.
    If it becomes very popular (attracting thousands of fans ) it will be adopted and maintained by the Facebook community.

3. Create a Group to communicate with other Facebook members who share an interest or hobby.

We could post lots of videos (I'm all in favour of using visual aids initially to attract attention - I came across this YouTube video by accident and it certainly caught my attention and curiosity! Register or Login Up until that point I was in the "you think Elvis is still alive :roll:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:  :lol: camp", to inform/educate people about the Eliza Presley story and the connections between MJ's and Elvis's "deaths" and, of course, make the link to You are not allowed to view links. What about going on to 'Elvis is alive' forums and trying to 'join forces' with them? I think this would have to be done very tactfully and respectfully because there seems to be a lot of rivalry between MJ fans and Elvis fans (for a reason that I have never quite understood to be honest!). If we let them know that we support them and want to help get their message across, we may just get a load more supporters in return. It would be great for the Elivs believers and the MJ believers to unite. What do you think?  :?:

 Yup---they are giving him "a treatment" (like my sisters give their boyfriends); still ticked off about two things:

1] For not letting one or two of them IN ON the big hoax prior to implementation---NO one gets to scoop the story, as how these outfits bite and devour each other for the priviledge, usually. No competitive chase and under the table, spoonfeed= no interest.  

Or, perhaps they are jealous that certain folk(such as Larry King) were told...Anyway, they are not going to work for it; it's cheaper to make something up, and, WHAT does a dead man do? (Nuttin', honey.) The Man has to show some     beginning, stirrings of Life....
