When one develops "inattentional blindness," as this effect is called, it becomes easy to miss details when one is not looking out for them.

The "invisible gorilla syndrome" is really quite deep.  I remember when the test first came out.  I took it and NEVER saw that damn gorilla.  Not even when it was pointed out.  Now, that's magic and illusion for ya! :ugeek:

i am concerned we have missed many invisable gorillas.
