Well to me, yes. During "This Is It", Michael says to Orianthi "it's your time to shine" and since Michael's "death", Orianthi has been "shining". Also naming her album "Believe", Has to be more then a "coincidence"...in my opinion. She is an extremely talented Musician and was blessed to be a part of Michael's life during this time...Michael certainly knows talent when he sees it and Orianthi was one of the "lucky" ones, who obviously became a part of Michael's "family" during the "This Is It" process. This is just my opinion though. :D

I saw on someone's video on youtube (I can't for the life of me remember whose video, I seen so many) where someone wrote on Orianthi's facbook page "I'm a beLIEver" and she replied "me too". Has anybody else seen that and know what I'm talking about? I can try and find it when I have a little more time. I just find it ironic if she really did respond that way and she named her album Believe?  And she played a show at Neverland? Something is up right there!

According to Wikipedia ( see You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login)), Believe is the second studio album by Australian guitarist Orianthi and her debut album recorded for a major label. It was released on October 26, 2009 by Geffen Records. The album's release was pushed back by Geffen to coincide with the compilation album This Is It by Michael Jackson, as a result of the publicity generated from her appearance in the concert film of the same name. The album peaked at number 77 at the Billboard 200.

The song "Believe" from which the album is titled, is a cover of the Niels Brinck's song "Believe Again", best known as the Danish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009.Virtuoso guitarist Steve Vai appears on and co-wrote the song "Highly Strung."

The album was re-released on June 8, 2010, it includes four new songs including the album's second single "Shut Up and Kiss Me".

Also, the album contains the following tracks:

1. “According to You”
2. “Suffocated”
3. “Bad News”
4. “Believe”
5. “Feels Like Home”
6. “Think Like a Man”
7. “What’s It Gonna Be”
8. “Untogether”
9. “Drive Away”
10. “Highly Strung”
11. “God Only Knows”
12. “Find It”
13. “Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over”

Orianthi:Believe II

The CD is the sequel to her 2009 release, Believe. It features three hit singles, "Shut Up and Kiss Me," and "According to You" and a cover of the John Waite song, "Missing You." With her mind-blowing mix of heavy metal guitar prowess and bluesy soulful vocals, Orianthi has earned some justifiable comparisons to rock legend Jimi Hendrix and her own idol Carlos Santana. She is truly a shining star and the CD won't disappoint.

Track Listing:
1.According to You
2.Shut Up and Kiss Me
3.Courage
4.Bad News
5.Feels Like Home
6.Think Like a Man
7.What's It Gonna Be
8.Missing You
9.Suffocated
10.Highly Strung
11.Believe
12.Addicted to Love
13.Find It (Bonus Track)

Recommended Tracks

The song, "Shut Up and Kiss Me", is an upbeat rock lament about getting someone you love to be obedient to your demands. The track that is recommended for getting a real taste of Orianthi's heavy metal pulsating, wailing guitar licks is the instrumental song, 'Highly Strung." "According To You" is the rock-anthem of all time and will no doubt will be a widely popular favorite when she performs it at her concerts. The power-pop ballad, "Courage" really shows-off her talented vocal range as well as the songs, "Believe" and her cover version of the John Waite song, "Missing You." The CD also contains the bonus track, "Find It."

All the tracks on the album are well-crafted. Each song flows into the next and none of them is the typical "bubble gum" pop. It's a modern mix of pop, heavy metal combined with a forceful edge, and a hint of soul and blues thrown in. Fans of Orianthi or Michael Jackson will love this album.

Also, here are the lyrics of the song "Believe":

You made it so easy to fall I had no fear at all
I saw you beside me you never saw me there at all
I promised you all this
I made plans thinking this was it
But never imagined
I'd find you and lose myself instead
I just never pictured it would end

And I, I wanna believe in love
I wanna believe in something bigger than the two of us (the two of us)
And I, I wanna breathe again
I wanna go back to the days
The days I had my innocence
I wanna believe again

I picked up the pieces
And put them back where they belonged
But something's missing
But part of me will carry on
Yeah, I'm gonna learn to trust again

And I, I wanna believe in love
I wanna believe in something bigger than the two of us (the two of us)
And I, I wanna breathe again
I wanna go back to the days
The days I had my innocence
I wanna believe again

And I, I wanna believe in love
I wanna believe in something bigger than the two of us
And I, I wanna breathe again
I wanna go back to the days
The days I had my innocence
I wanna believe again (I wanna believe)
I wanna believe again (I wanna believe)
I wanna believe again

LOVE,
Andy
