Hmmmmmm... You know what I see? It has nothing to do with doubles.  Look at this, and this is a fact my friend, and when you deal with facts you can always prove you are right.

Remember all the fuss about how sick Michael was? (Don't get me wrong, I do think he was really thin) but one of the arguments were "Look at him", "He goes in to the Staples center wearing all those clothes and the dancers were half naked because they were hot"

Look again I say to them: Yes, some of the dancers were half naked, but a lot of them were in long sleeves and several times Kenny is in long sleeves. Travis Payne was also in a hooded sweatshirt at one point. Which brings up something else.  When was the first footage allegedly shot? Wasn't that after March? Someone correct me on that if I am wrong.
For those of you in CA, can you tell us if the temp would have allowed wearing such heavy clothes after March? It was a fairly cool summer here last year but I don't know about there.

as for ortegas comment on michaels multiple layers of clothing, I think i had  3 dif shirts on so he you do a quick shift between the songs, or maybe during the song. An i bet that  the staples center have great aircondition so it was probably pretty cool in there.

I just re-watched This is It again lol and at the very end of the movie where Kenny, "MJ" and Michael Beardon or someone like him (forget now) were talking about the MJ Air rehearsal/practice and Kenny says to MJ .... blah blah blah (can't remember the exact words) for Michael and MJ says "no no no" ....on so on.  Like Kenny was saying you had to do something for Michael and this MJ says no no no.

"for Michael" are the words that caught my attention.  It was like Kenny and "MJ" were discussing the stuff that had to be done and MJ mentions something about stewardesses and such and they are laughing and you can't hear MJ very well, but it is re-written on the screen what he says.  So my inclination is that this guy Kenny was talking to was a double for Michael.  JMO -- what do u all think?

yes it does seem odd to be wearing heavy clothing especially if you are dancing and working up a sweat, unless the arena was a refridgerator lol....I thought it strange for MJ to be dancing around in a heavy parka lol.... also there was some talk that the dancers were already choosen because they had danced with Janet, etc.  in the passed.

I don't know how people could think that it wasn't Michael in 02. Look at that beautiful smile. Who else in this world have that smile? His hands, fingers, his fingernails, that beautiful nose, teeth ... How hard can it be to recognize him? It's not hard for me. :)

I'm sorry, I am not following you. I didn't even know Ortega said anything about this. What I was referring to was the fact that people that support a "Michael was too ill to perform" stance claim that Michael was so ill that he had to wear multiple layers of clothing and sit in front of a heater when he was in the Staples center.

I was looking out some pics of TII (I don't think it's necessary to post them, but I will do it if you need it). Thing is he was wearing multiple layers of clothes at the same time that other people pictured with him were wearing t-shirts... Maybe he was not sick but just anaemic, as Joe said.

I was looking out some pics of TII (I don't think it's necessary to post them, but I will do it if you need it). Thing is he was wearing multiple layers of clothes at the same time that other people pictured with him were wearing t-shirts... Maybe he was not sick but just anaemic, as Joe said.

I don't know if he was sick or not. That is not a fact that I can prove or disprove. I do know that there are some people in T-Shirts, but in the same shots you will see people in long sleeves as well. So, it was a mixture of people in long sleeves and people and short sleeves in the same shots. This proves that some other people were more comfortable in layers or long sleeves, not just MJ.
My point of the matter was not to prove whether he was sick or not but rather the perception that other folks are putting out there with the statements they made about him wearing multiple layers. They are making him sick whether he was or not. It is another case of people see what they want to see or are told.

I may be wrong, but in alot of other pictures of MJ (not TII related) he is dressed in layers too. :)   Maybe he was just comfortable that way.  I know I am,  It is hard to explain but it has something to do with the weight of the extra layers feel comforting to me.  I also like to have several layers of blankets on my bed.  It is just a comfort thing.. I know crazy right!   Anyways it was just something I thought I would share.  L.O.V.E
