I got up nice and early today to celebrate MJ today.  I have only seen little clips onvarious news stations...but nothing much.  I know Maxwell is performing on the Today show and Orianthi is on Regis and Kelly but I guess I was hoping for live coverage of mourners all over the world.  I feel as if the world should stop today - but I know that will not happen.   :(

Oh i see what you mean. I also woke up with anticipation of something special. And was surprised that the sun is shining as usual and nothing is happening. But i don't lose hope, because i never believed that he would come back this very day.

MTV showed King of Pop weekend, one tabloid wrote "World mourns: it's been a year since Michael Jackson's passing" and showed various photos of fans holding vigils etc, but that's about it.

Only yesterday This is it on TV and a few docus, but that's it. Not even MTV or other Music Channel are doin somethin special ..hm I think it's WAY too quiet

I thought there would have been more in the papers but a lot of the UK music channels are doing shows today and This Is It is being shown on Sky movies Premiere as well. Personally I'm going to have his music on for the rest of the day, maybe go light a candle or something. I think if he really has gone he wouldn't want us to be sad for long but just to remember everything he gave us and for us to celebrate that.

I have my TII cd playing today, my TII dvd is on the tv....and my house is a MJ memorial spot...if anyone wants to come over...lol!

There is some show on here tearing him to pieces talking about how he would take 100s of pills a day and was on dope for years and how the family tried so hard to make him stop  :roll: PUUUUUULease.

I just called FL to find out what exactly was going on there today.  I spoke to  a very sweet female that said that there would not be any type of service but fans would be able to be at the mosoleum.....but NOT INSIDE where MJ is.  It just goes to show you how things get twisted ... you can't believe anything you read.  Nobody will be able to get up close to where MJ is APPARENTLY resting in peace.

I was planning to go there today but after all the BS that started coming out about FL I changed my mind. I wonder where are all of these people parking?  And weren't the brothers suppose to be there at 11:00 this morning? Sheesh More BS I guess.Anyway I decided to celebrate MJ's legacy  by going to my County Fair tonight,The"Who's Bad" The Ultimate Tribute Michael Jackson Band will be performing tonight and there will be MJ tributes throughout the fair. I will let you know tomorrow how it went.
