Some filmmakers won't let legends rest in peace -- and that's not necessarily a bad thing. "The Trials of Michael Jackson" (7 p.m., Documentary Channel), directed by Barry Shaw and Dana Gedrick, looks at how Jackson's 2005 child-molestation trial was influenced by media bias and fan enthusiasm.

SYNOPSIS:
Two first-time filmmakers set out to document Michael Jackson's fans during his 2005 child molestation trial. Due to unforeseen events, the filmmakers find themselves personally involved with their subjects. What follows is a compelling look at the media's role in the spectacle.

Looks like we are all in the twilight zone! Barry Shaw directing a documentary about MJ's trials. Personally, I think that is something the world would like to forget. Why drudge up the past? That second trial nearly destroyed Michael. I personally won't watch it. We already dissected those trials last year and knew they were trumped up allegations on Michael to destroy him. Is Barry Shaw that desperate for money in these lean times? Keep the Faith!

There is no 'second' trial, there has only been one.  Yes, the world like to forget this trial, and the world still thinks Mike is guilty of what he was accused of.  It was a TRIAL BY MEDIA that convicted him, not the legal system.

The world needs to know that Mike was acquitted, the world needs to know that he was framed.  The world needs to know that the DA used fabricated evidence.  The world needs to know that those accusations were fabricated to destroy him.  The world needs to know that the media is responsible for the opinion most people still have about this trial.

So YES, let them dig, and let them broadcast documentaries about what REALLY happened, until the world finally realizes, accepts and spreads the TRUTH about this horrific attempt to finish Mike off and the role the media took in it!

It is attributed to "a repeated lie a thousand times becomes truly" to a supposed nazi not is if actually said it so or not, but this statement is very sensible. And of course that best way to repeat a lie often to make really that the mass media, and have years to pursue us this strategy which is very effective, have repeated us lies much awareness of many people assumed that they were correct. In a Word need the world to know the truth about Michael, the media believe accusers and judges and destroy the lives of the people.

It had been pointed out a long time ago that "Barry Shaw" is the name of a producer..and that the "double" either took his name or they have the same name. I don't know what I believe about the double...But I do think the name is interesting. Maybe Michael is behind the production of this. EIther way..yes it's a good thing. More people need to know the truth...more people need to trust in Michael's true character...especially for when he comes back.

Played in the Queens International Film Festival in 2008.  Fake Barry Shaw claiming to be Michael's double probably knew that and figured it was only a matter of time before the hoaxers found a connection, no matter how pointless and their heads would spin.

I hope not only to deepen the role of the media, but all other participants involved in this sad episode in the exploration of image and reputation of Mike, been so unfairly, despite the legal verdict.  :cry:
