Speechless
Michael Jackson was inspired to write the ballad after a water balloon fight with youngsters in Germany. In an interview with Vibe magazine, the musician commented, "I was so happy after the fight that I ran upstairs in their house and wrote 'Speechless'. Fun inspires me. I hate to say that, because it's such a romantic song." He added, "But it was the fight that did it. I was happy, and I wrote it in its entirety right there. I felt it would be good enough for the album. Out of the bliss comes magic, wonderment, and creativity."

Children
Children show me in their playful smiles the divine in everyone. This simple goodness shines straight from their hearts and only asks to be lived. ~ Michael Jackson

When I see children, I see the face of God. That's why I love them so much. That's what I see. ~ Michael Jackson

I feel God in these lyrics.

Speechless
Your love is magical, that's how I feel
But I have not the words here to explain
Gone is the grace for expressions of passion
But there are worlds and worlds of ways to explain
To tell you how I feel
But I am speechless, speechless
That's how you make me feel
Though I'm with you I am far away and nothing is for real
When I'm with you I am lost for words, I don't know what to say
My head's spinning like a carousel, so silently I pray
Helpless and hopeless, that's how I feel inside
Nothing's real, but all is possible if God is on my side
When I'm with you I am in the light where I cannot be found
It's as though I am standing in the place called Hallowed Ground
Speechless, speechless, that's how you make me feel
Though I'm with you I am far away and nothing is for real
I'll go anywhere and do anything just to touch your face
There's no mountain high I cannot climb
I'm humbled in your grace
Speechless, speechless, that's how you make me feel
Though I'm with you I am lost for words and nothing is for real
Speechless, speechless, that's how you make me feel
Though I'm with you I am far away, and nothing is for real
Speechless, speechless, that's how you make me feel
Though I'm with you I am lost for words and nothing is for real
SpeechlessYour love is magical, that's how I feel
But in your presence I am lost for words
Words like, "I love you."

Quote from: "Its her"
Michael Jackson mentioned God, Jesus, or doing good and healing, either people or their sad situations(Jesus' works, TOO, BTW) in every interview on him ever published.  Sad, now, how everything has been broken up into bytes or edited out...

He didn't preach to you to do anything, except look into your :o  OWN face in your own mirror, but he always spoke of his own life and efforts to be sure he was right with God, and how BLESSED he was by endeavoring to obey the Word he knew.

It is never a contest, with God, but, just FYI, as it was brought up, here, I never ever heard of ANYONE, wealthy, entertainer, or average joe, build an entire ROOM, DEVOTED ONLY, and ENTIRELY to the accommodation of sick little kids, for sheer comfort and happiness for a few hours of their difficult lives  :!:

NO one does this.

Sick and hopeless situations render most people very helpless and uncomfortably inept. Jackson doesn't REact, he PRO-acts. There is a POWERFUL force of Love and compassion inside there... :D

Many people who obtain great wealth, only look for charities as tax shelters and many, many more entertainers, feel blessed and compelled to "give back". Only God can judge which motived whom. I'm certain the recipients of any support or gift, aren't judging their benefactors in any way, and neither am I.

Just saying, I can FEEL and HEAR and SEE Jesus in the actions of Michael Jackson, on a regular basis.

My opinion won't carry any weight at judgment day---I just wanted to say this about him, HERE. I never met any one like that, who simply wanted to relieve suffering by  making it easy for people to be happy for a minute  :!:    8-)  8-)  8-)  8-)  8-)

    WHAT

would this world be LIKE,

if even half of us were just like THAT :?: :o

AMEN to that!    This thread struck a deep chord with me, so I'd like to weigh in:

I honestly believe that Michael has always used his talents to do God's work as he sees it and as best as he knows how.  In this, I would say he is God-like. (Notice I did not say he is God.  That shouldn't even have to be argued.)  I can't even begin to list all the reasons why I think he is an amazing, unique soul; there are simply too many.  I will say this, though:  I've ALWAYS liked Michael's music, but I just didn't know the man, his daily whereabouts, or even all of his wonderful songs well enough to use the "fan" label.  I always felt in my gut that he was innocent of the charges brought against him but no, I did not hold signs outside of the courthouse every day or even follow the blow-by-blow media coverage.  In fact, I really didn't get into the details of it all or even see the Bashir documentary until after June 25th, 2009.  So some may not consider me a "true fan," but I don't care.  I believe Michael would have a different opinion of what makes a fan.

All I know is what I feel, and when this man died (or so I thought at the time), it hit me like a ton of bricks.  I cried - and I mean full-out sobs - for weeks afterwards.  How the hell does that happen to someone who only gave him an occasional passing thought most of the last 20 years?  I mean, that really messed me up.  I'm a fairly well-adjusted human being, by most accounts.  I couldn't explain it then, and I can't explain it now.  My mind was trying to reason it all away, but my heart wouldn't go along.  There's just something special about this man.  For lack of better words, his soul just shines.  That's what I see.

Call me crazy...but the heart doesn't lie.  Mine tells me his is a once-in-a-lifetime soul, and not just because of his phenomenal dance moves.

Quote from: "Believe 777"
Quote from: "terror2k9"
M.J. always said he was not God,but he was trying to live his life ,to be God-like.
listening to his music every day for a whole year now ,I really have realized that his music was more than just songs, because I always liked his music but never looked at the real lyrics, its amazing how many people love a song but don't know whats really being sung ,I never realized how powerful his lyrics really were until after his "death".Now all I do is read lyrics of songs to see where the artists are really coming from. I really do believe M.J. was special in every way when you can't even count how many special messages he has put into his music.Just and example "Man in the Mirror""keep the Faith""Earth song""Another part of Me" "CRy""UNBREAKABLE" "They Don't really care about Us" "Jam"I could probably be here all day posting the strong messages in hiS LYRICS all day. Trying to prove that they just were not songs in the sense of entertainment purposes but Songs with a strong message trying to teach us a lesson in life itself. Everyone in the world knew how giving Michael Jackson was with the charities to help our world and how he would open his home to all the sick children and let them run free through Neverland and have the time of there lives.M.J had a mission and a goal in his life and I truly believe he thought or thinks he is truly doing GODS work! What do you think?

I agree completely. I think is amazing how many people Michael has touched on a very deep level. He has also acheived something truly unpresidented by touching people who didn't even know they had been touched. People like me, who had a sudden reminder once he had 'Died'. I felt that something wasn't right and I couldn't let it rest, I had to try and make sense of it. This shocked me because I was never a fan really. He has been literally talking to us in his songs and it is only now that we really hear him. Yes I do think he is on a mission to do God's work and along with many others who are aiding him. The true magic will always be Michael, it's like he gave a bit of himself to every one who could sense it.

Couldn't agree anymore :)

Be FREE and HAPPY.LOVE is the key.
You are just another part of me.
We are here to change the world.
~\(≧▽≦)/~

I think michael  can bring people together through his music because he always puts GOD in his heart and he knows his mission that GOD gave to him ..
and because of that, he tries to work much harder than everyone using his talent on such a beautiful way .. I know we and GOD knows how much effort michael put to make this world be a better place with his talent ..
Michael gives all of his soul and heart sincerely to his music that's why his music can touch many people and make them thinking thinking and thinking ..
and that's happen to me too .. I can feel michael present in his music ..

Michael:  Hebrew for Who is like God?
Joseph:  Hebrew for God will increase

Seems very fitting to me that God is part of both meanings, considering how important He is to Michael.  :)

ONLY Believe...

Quote from: "all4loveandbelieve"
In my opinion there is only one God and nobody can be like him. Michael wanted to do good, be a good person, and obey the 10 commandments. He did not want to be God like.Just a humanitarian who cares about people, world, everything surrounding him.  Jehova witness, are very religious people, and they have very high faith, as catholics. He never said he wanted to be like God, he said he wanted to make God proud of him.

Beautiful. I agree.

Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!

If you look around
The whole world's coming together now yeah,
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Feel it in the air
The wind is taking it everywhere yeah,
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!

All the brothers of the world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly.
Yes it's alright, take my message to your brother and tell him twice uh huh
Spread the word who tried to teach the man who is hatin' his brother,
When hate won't do
'cause we're all the same
Yes the blood inside of me is inside of you c’mon

Now tell me!

Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you see what's going down, you can fill it in your bones

Every breath you take,
Is someone's death in another place yeah
Every healthy smile
Is hunger and strife to another child yeah
But the stars do shine
And promising salvation is near this time. Yeah yeah
Can you feel it now,
So brothers and sisters
Shall we know how.

Now tell me!
Can you feel it, tell me can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you see what's going down, you can fill it in your bones

All the children of the world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly
Yes it's alright
Take my message to your brother and tell him twice uh huh
Take the news to the marchin' men
Who are killin' their brothers, when death won't do no no
Yes we're all the same
Yes the blood inside my veins is inside of you yeah yeah yeah yeah

Now tell me!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
Can you feel it, can you feel it, can you feel it!
I feel it,and if i am asked to kill someone for war, I will not do it. LOVE not WAR,is the answer. We murder our own brothers when we fight.I really do believe all humans are one.Thank you MJ.

Listen to Mozart or Bach for example. Behind the music of both composers opus is also to find a Divine Plan. I myself have made the experience that people who recognize the beauty and the supernatural and internalize this music, can change for good. I can only speak about me: I began to listen to Mozart with four years and I know how this has influenced me and has left an indelible impression deep inside my soul. For me, Mozart's music was always perfection, beauty and wisdom. It teaches precious: amazement, gentleness, serenity, joy, humility.
Music is a divine and universal language. So far the divine speaks through Michael's music and his expression (as someone else already said).
I also believe that the gift, to create such art, is absolutely divine. I do not see this as a glorification of the people who have this genius. Rather they are the channel through which a divine spirit materializes and tells us: "I am with you, trust. I love you and give you as a expression of my love this music as a gift."
Music can heal and reconcile - with the world, others and especially yourself. And it can unite people.

And this is a story I hear a lot!!! Unexplainable!!
LaToya's words are for confusion. Perhaps her part in this?
Just watching Michael in TII you can see and hear his words and he says "Bless you" quite a few times.
The comment about his dance moves, well MJ knew what he was doing. It reminds me of what Snoop Dogg said on Larry King Live when Larry mentioned how his concerts are not the way he is portrayed in interviews or on his reality show. Snoop said something like "well I gotta give them what they want when I am onstage, that is what they want."
It hit home when I went to see Snoop last month at his concert, I was shocked! I couldn't understand why the Snoop up there differed so much from the one I saw on TV. Way different!!!
I am not a rap person!!!!! But I felt I needed to go to see Snoop LOL! It was an experience for sure!
Keeping an open mind and keeping the faith!!!!

"In the news today from strange and weird fact files singer Michael Jackson sleeps in a oxygen chamber, the singer says that the hyperbaric chamber has the benefits reducing the aging process!"We got more ahead, Michael Jackson has made an offer of 2 million dollors for the skeletal remains of the elephant man!"(This just in,singer Michael Jackson has a shrine of Elizabeth Taylor in his Encino home!)
Speculate to break the one you hate
Circulate the lie you confiscate
Assassinate and mutilate
As the hounding media in hysteria
Who's the next for you to resurrect
JFK exposed the CIA
Truth be told the grassy knoll
As the blackmail story in all your glory

It's slander
You say it's not a sword
But with your pen you torture men
You'd crucify the Lord
And you don't have to read it, read it
And you don't have to eat it, eat it
To buy it is to feed it, feed it
So why do we keep foolin' ourselves

Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
Though everybody wants to read all about it
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual, actual
They say he's homosexual

In the hood
Frame him if you could
Shoot to kill
To blame him if you will
If he dies sympathize
Such false witnesses
Damn self righteousness
In the black
Stab me in the back
In the face
To lie and shame the race
Heroine and Marilyn
As the headline stories of
All your glory

It's slander
With the words you use
You're a parasite in black and white
Do anything for news
And you don't go and buy it, buy it
And they won't glorify it, 'fy it
To read it sanctifies it, 'fies it
Then why do we keep foolin' ourselves
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
Everybody wants to read all about it
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
See, but everybody wants to believe all about it

Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
See, but everybody wants to believe all about it
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual, actual
She's blonde and she's bisexual

Scandal
With the words you use
You're a parasite in black and white
Do anything for news
And you don't go and buy it, buy it
And they won't glorify it, 'fy it
To read it sanctifies it, 'fies it
Why do we keep foolin' ourselves
Slander
You say it's not a sin
But with your pen you torture men
Then why do we keep foolin' ourselves

Just because you read it in a magazine

Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual
Just because you read it in a magazine
Or see it on the TV screen
Don't make it factual, actual
You're so damn disrespectable

Quote

I agree completely with the above. I hadn´t thought of MJ for more than 20 years, yet was totally devostated and couldn´t stop crying for months after he died. There is absolutely NO explanation. I felt he was there, in the room, with me. His presence was so strong. There was something totally magic about that guy.

I, too, think he wanted to be like Jesus. I think he liked the way Jesus said "Let the children come to me!" and he felt the same way..... Unfortunately, just like Jesus, he was tortured and nailed to a cross - literally. He had to suffer so much and had to die/disappear before people truly understood his message.

Couldn´t help but thinking of MJ when I read the headlines in the papers some weeks ago: "Jesus did not die on the cross!" A very serious research shows he had a guy taking his place, but he let people believe he had died so that he could continue his work behind the scene....in another country and under another name.

Interesting :) ;)

Re: Doing GODs work through his music and actions?

KENNY ROGERS-
Going back to Alabama
Now that I've learned the thing too
Life with me ain't been so easy
But I've got some living yet to do.

'Cause a man who walks by the side of the road
Can turn himself around
He can pick himself fast, just himself fast
And start all over again, my friend.

Some days I didn't wanna wake up in the morning
My family and friends were all down on me
I tried to tell ‘em where I was going
But they never saw the man I saw in me.

Some folks called me a dreamer
Other folks left and called me a fool
All I ever wanted to be was a winner
'Cause I know a winner can never lose.

'Cause a man who walks by the side of the road
Can turn himself around
He can pick himself fast, just himself fast
And start all over again, my friend...

Michael Jackson Goin' Back to Alabama Lyrics:
I'm goin' back to Indiana
Back to where I started from
Goin' back to Indiana
Indiana here I come

I spread my wings for greener pastures
I still ain't found what I was after
I've got the blues and that is why I sing
I just wanna do my thing, yeah

I'm goin' back to Indiana
Indiana, here I come, yeah, yeah
I'm goin' back to Indiana
'cause that's where my baby's from
Yeah, okay Tito you got it

I'm goin' back to Indiana
Indiana, here I come
I'm goin' back to Indiana
'cause that's where my baby's from, yeah

Hollywood you got a lot of pretty things

I saw a lot of movies stars
with diamonds rings
But I ain't got my baby and I'm feeling wrong
That's why I got to sing my song

I'm goin' back to Indiana
Indiana, here I come
I'm goin' back to Indiana
'cause that's where my baby's from, yeah

I'm comin', I'm comin', I'm comin'
I'm home, yeah

Ha ha Sis Boom Bah
One more time for Roosevelt High
Johny Ray, Tex, Scooter and Lorenzo too
Watch T W Brown do the boogaloo
Ev'ry soul that passes by
This song is for you from the Jackson 5
I'm comin home It's plain to see
I still got Indiana soul in me

I'm goin' back to Indiana
Indiana, here I come
I'm goin' back to Indiana
'cause that's where my baby's from, yeah
That's where she is, yeah yeah yeah
