Ok we don't know 100% sure if MJ is Muslim or not but whether he is or isn't shouldn't matter. It's his life let him choose his religion. And if he did convert to Islam I'm sure it's possible considering the muslim countries he live in the sheiks he visited and the fact that his brother is Muslim.

I'm with you. I don't see why it would matter for one thing, and for another thing - I don't think ANYONE but him can be 100% sure. That's like being 100% sure what someone's favorite color is or something.

The ONLY important thing about MJ's religion is that he believes in God. This hoax has proven that much. Does it really matter how he worships God? God is the same no matter what.

If he did that's great. No need to get upset & debate his religion. He was being protected by them. I'm sure that one of the conditions for them doing so was for him to join. He was afraid & needed their help, so why wouldn't he join? That doesn't mean he doesn't still hold his religious beliefs, he just joined NOI so that they could protect him. Big deal. At least they were willing to do it. NOI is made to look bad but really they're not. So please don't judge based on your personal opinion of the NOI. You have no reason to say he didn't or wouldn't join, when them protecting him & backing him up is reason enough to say he did join.

The Nation of Islam is not ISLAM and the members are NOT MUSLIM.  They use some things from Islam to make their own religion...they believe Elijah Mohammad their founder was a prophet... This is why Malcolm X converted to Islam once he realized the Nation of Islam was not Islam.
