They may have lost their famous father more than two years ago, but Michael Jackson's children are clearly determined to keep his memory alive.

Prince, 14, Paris, 13 and nine-year-old Blanket today unveiled artwork by the singer, donated to the Children's Hospital, Los Angeles.
They were joined by their aunt LaToya and grandmother Katherine to the ceremony which saw 13 pieces of artwork containing personal tributes from the singer's children. The pieces were all signed by the late King of Pop and included a photograph of himSketches included one of Mickey Mouse, a throne and a drawing of Jackson icon Peter Pan.
There was also a drawing of his famous moonwalkHis children, whose faces were once so long hidden by their protective father, seemed relaxed in the public eye.
Fast growing teenagers Prince and Paris towered above LaToya and Jackson's mother Katherine who wore a bright orange jacket.
Prince looked grown up in a all black outfit and kept a pair of sunglasses on throughout the ceremony.
Paris wore a peach coloured top under a white waistcoat, while her aunt LaToya sported a boxy white jacket over slim fitting trousers.
The works were donated by Brett Livingstone-Strong, an artist and friend of Jackson's.
'I think if Michael was here today, he would be so thrilled,' he told the assembled guests'I believed his talent flowed over to become an incredible artist himself. He often dreamed of having an exhibit.'
The children had written some personal messages on the paintings, with Blanket penning a note which read: 'My father's art and music always make everyone happy.'
It ended with a poignant: 'I love you daddyThe singer's sister, La Toya said she thought the art will bring joy to children at the hospital.
'You look at this, it makes you happy,' she said at the ceremony.

'They’re whimsical, they’re magical and there’s just joy and peace.
'I know that when you see this and the kids see it, it will bring some type of joy to them, and at the same time, I know it will bring joy to my brother as well.

In his first interview since being jailed on 78 counts of wiretapping in 2008, Hollywood's most notorious private investigator has made an explosive claim concerning the late singer Michael Jackson.
While Jackson who died in 2009 has long been subject to rumours of inappropriate relations with young boys.
Pellicano claimed he dropped the superstar as a client because he 'did something far worse' than molesting young boys. Now speaking from his jail cell, the Hollywood Investigator boasted 'I was way ahead of my time.'

Allegation: Pellicano accused Jackson of doing something 'far worse with young boys'
Now speaking from his jail cell, the Hollywood Investigator boasted 'I was way ahead of my time

Pellicano revealed why he allegedly dropped the King of Pop as a client, after being hired to investigate one of the families accusing the singer in the 2003 child molestation case.
He claimed he told Jackson he would only work for him if he wasn't guilty.

'I said, "You don't have to worry about cops or lawyers. If I find out anything, I will f*** you over",' he said.

'I quit after I found out some truths.

'He did something far worse to young boys than molest them.'

But the investigator did not elaborate on his sensational claim.

The investigator, who was known for phone-hacking long before the current scandal, has reportedly done work for the likes of Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bill Clinton.
He was jailed for 15 years in 2008 after being found guilty on 78 counts including wire-tapping, racketeering and wire fraud from his controversial operation.

Pellicano said he was locked up because he refused to betray his high profile clients - adding that he has some shocking secrets on them.

He told Newsweek he had information on Arnold Schwarzenegger which, had the authorities found, 'he would never have been governor'.
While his case has long since disappeared from the front pages, hacking has been at the forefront of the news agenda with the News Of The World scandal that has damged the reputations of News International boss Rupert Murdoch, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and the Metropolitan Police.

However, Pellicano claims the British phone-hacking scandal is not such a big deal.

He said: 'I was way ahead of my time,” he says. What’s the big deal about some tabloid hijacking Hugh Grant’s voicemails?

'If Murdoch’s name wasn’t involved, would there be a story? If someone wiretapped Britney Spears, no one would care. The story is, did Murdoch know people were doing this? Did he condone it? I strongly believe he had no idea.'

Hmmmm if michael is alive then murray is innocent if murray is innocent then no trial needed what better way to distract our attention from the court case than have a nice big tribute concert to divert our attention??

A planned Michael Jackson tribute concert, supported by the late pop star's mother and four siblings, was in disarray Thursday amid family squabbling and the apparent failure of promoters to sign any big-name acts so far.

Tickets for the show, scheduled for Cardiff, Wales, in October, were to go on sale Thursday, but instead of providing a link for purchases the promoter's website asked fans to "Please Standby for further announcements."

The head of the British company promoting the concert promised last week it would "feature the world's most amazing music performers." The roster would be revealed online one act at a time over the next 10 days weeks, Global Live Events CEO Chris Hunt told reporters at a July 25 news conference.

"Everybody's in the midst of signing contracts so nothing can be announced until that happens," Juliette Harris, spokeswoman for Global Live Events, told CNN late Tuesday. She suggested an announcement would come Wednesday.

By Thursday, still no acts had been announced.

The problems started soon after brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie, sister La Toya and family matriarch Katherine Jackson attended the "Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert" announcement at the Beverly Hills Hotel on July 25.

La Toya Jackson said it was "something that's spectacular" while the Jacksons' mother called it "a show fit for a king."

"If my son were here today, he would feel the same way," Katherine Jackson said.

"I know my brother would be very, very proud to see all the artists that he admired and respected so much coming together for this event," Tito Jackson said.

But an hour later, Jermaine and Randy Jackson, the only brothers not at the news conference, issued a sharply worded statement that reflected a deep division within the Jackson family over the show.

"We want to make clear that this does not reflect the position of the entire family," the two brothers said in a joint statement.

"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death."

While Hunt had hinted it could include a Jackson brothers reunion, the statement from Jermaine and Randy Jackson made it clear that would not happen.

"In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live," Randy and Jermaine Jackson said.

Their statement said the idea of the October concert was presented to the entire family in April "as an idea already in its advanced stages." The decision to go ahead with it "disrespects opinions and wishes expressed in the strongest terms" by some members of the Jackson family, they said.

The Michael Jackson Fan Club agreed with the two brothers, issuing a similar statement.

"We share their concerns that this concert is taking place at a most inappropriate time when everyone's care and attention should be focused on the matter of justice. We believe that, as stated by Jermaine and Randy, the most important tribute we can give to Michael Jackson at this time is to seek justice in his name."

Jackson fans posted messages on the concert's Facebook page questioning ticket prices and the process for buying them.

Fans must place bids for a chance to buy a ticket. The higher their pledge to a charity, the better their chances of getting a good seat.

"The ticket system is so bad!! the higher you bid the better seats you get?? not every Michael fan is rich!!!" one fan posted on the "Michael Forever Tribute" Facebook page Thursday.

After several days of such negative posts, a link to the Facebook page was removed from the concert's website.

The October 8 show, in the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, which seats 75,000 people, would be at least four hours long, Hunt said.

In addition to the other problems surrounding the event, a spokesman for Michael Jackson's estate said last week that the promoters never sought or obtained permission from the estate's executors to use late pop singer's name or image.

"The estate has not been contacted and is not involved with Global Live Events in the UK tribute concert announced today," spokesman Jim Bates told CNN.

Michael Jackson News / Paris Jackson Harassed on Twitter
« on: August 03, 2011, 05:32:30 PM »
It’s been two years since the shocking death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. In that time, his three children - Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9 - have enjoyed a more social lifestyle than they were used to; no longer being hidden from the paparazzi.

But for Paris Jackson, Michael’s only daughter, it looks like it’s been a more difficult transition. After being hounded by paps earlier in the month; an incident that involved a call to police officers, Paris recently found herself the victim of cyberbullying when a Twitter follower began to harass her, telling her that Michael Jackson was not her biological father.

The individual has since deleted the comments from his or her timeline, but from what we can tell, Paris seemed to hold her own, arguing that she’s “100% Jackson blood,” and a “natural Jackson” with the love and support of her “beloved gramma and cousins.

Michael Jackson's mother has announced that a tribute concert will take place in Britain for the star who died two years ago.

Katherine Jackson revealed details of the show, which will take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, during a press conference.

She said: "Michael gave his entire life to the world through his love, his music and his devotion to healing the planet."

The singer's mother added that "as many members of my family that are available" will be at the concert in Wales on October 8.

However, in a statement, Michael's brothers Jermaine and Randy Jackson said they felt the timing of the concert was "inappropriate" and "ill-timed" as it falls two weeks into the criminal trial of Conrad Murray, the doctor charged with involuntary manslaughter in relation to the star's death.

The brothers said: "Today's press conference in Los Angeles announced a tribute concert to Michael to be attended and supported by the Jackson family. However, we want to make clear that this does not reflect the position of the entire family.

"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honours our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death.

"As everyone knows, those proceedings commence September 20th, and this Michael Forever concert takes place in Cardiff, Wales, on October 8th.

"In light of this, we feel it is inappropriate to be involved with such an ill-timed event and its promoter, Global Live.

"Furthermore, the decision to proceed with this concert disrespects opinions and wishes expressed in the strongest terms to Global Live during conversations in April when this event was presented to the majority of the family as an idea already in its advanced stages

Aaron Carter Backtracks On Michael Jackson Cocaine Story
Aaron Carter, the American singer who rose to fame as a pop and hip-hop star in the late-1990's, has claimed he never told an entertainment reporter Michael Jackson gave him cocaine. Carter stunned fans on Thursday (30th June 2011) when he allegedly told OK Magazine Australia that the late singer offered him drugs and alcohol.

A representative for the singer now tells Tmz.com the report was entirely fabricated and that despite their close relationship, Jackson never offered Carter anything untoward. In the original article written by international journalist Daphne Barak, Carter was quoted as saying, "Yes, (MJ) gave me wine. I mean, I could have refused, but I was 15. As for drugs? He gave me cocaine". Carter also claimed such incidents continued until his mother was forced to phone the police and report the 'Thriller' star. The singer's representative totally denies the veracity of the article, saying, "Nothing was said that was reported". The rep also directed Tmz to a YouTube video of the interview with Barak, which appears to back up Carter's version of events. Although the journalist was approached for a comment, there has so far been no response.

Aaron Carter was controversially considered to be one of Michael Jackson's closest friends. The singer, who passed away in June 2009, was acquitted of child sexual abuse in 2005

Michael Jackson News / 'Murdoch death' hackers target Sun
« on: July 19, 2011, 11:57:09 AM »
Computer hackers have targeted The Sun website, with visitors being redirected to a hoax story about Rupert Murdoch's suicide.

The group LulzSec, which has previously targeted companies including Sony, claimed it carried out the hijack, via messages on Twitter.

Internet users trying to access thesun.co.uk were redirected to new-times.co.uk and a story entitled "Media mogul's body discovered".

It suggested that Mr Murdoch had been found after he had "ingested a large quantity of palladium".

After that site stopped working, The Sun address was re-directing to LulzSec's Twitter account, which claimed to be displaying "hacked internal Sun staff data" in one entry.

A News International spokeswoman confirmed the company was "aware" of what was happening, but made no further comment.

LulzSec is a group of hackers that has claimed responsibility for various high-profile computer attacks on bodies including FBI partner organisations, the CIA, the US Senate and a pornography website.

In the UK it also carried out a distributed denial of service attack - where large numbers of computers overload a target with web requests - on the Serious and Organised Crime Agency website.

The group's name comes from the word lulz, which is online slang for laughter at someone else's expense. Their logo is a cartoon man in a top hat and monocle, holding a glass of wine
