General Hoax Talk / How are dead bodies identified normally?
« on: December 23, 2009, 10:48:06 AM »
Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew how dead bodies are normally identified, specifically in California if this varies by state.  i.e. in a regular non-hoax scenario, how to they determine who the deceased actually is?

What counts as legal proof?  Identification by family member, dental records, fingerprints, DNA?  What is customary?  Does it matter if the person was pronounced dead in a hospital or elsewhere?

Thanks to anyone who knows....

Michael Joe Jackson ~ Michael Joseph Jackson / Re: Joe vs. Joseph SOLVED.

ok so call me stupid if you must because i am only 18...but i thought you can choose the middle name of your childrens when they are born. Like i have always thought that the middle didn't have to beYOUR personal middle name as well i just thought it was something the parents always thought...do you know what i am trying to say because its really hard to put into words what is going on in my head lets give ex: say my moms middle name was sharon but she has my middle name down as michelle??...is this making any sense to you?? :?:

man this is so confusing!!!

Yes, in America you can name your child whatever you want.  Traditionally many people use the father's last name as the child's last name.  Many people pick any name they want for the child's first name and middle name, whether just a name they like, honoring a relative, etc.  In this case Joseph and Katherine must have picked Joe or Joseph after Michael's father, but it's not a requirement to pick any name in particular.  Michael happened to choose to put his own name in the names of his own kids, but that's also personal choice.  I hope this answers your question?

General Hoax Talk / MJ the Actor

I really liked this blog post on MJ's acting career and what may have been "acting" in a non-traditional sense:

Thanks for emailing them Crescendo!  You're right -- the worst that can happen is they say he is buried there.  We can analyze the email for clues... but it won't undo everything else we have found so far.  Hug!!

Michael Jackson Opus / Re: the opus
« on: December 21, 2009, 09:20:22 AM »
Like the THIS IS IT film, I suspect the Opus was timed to be released at the same time as the hoax for maximum interest.

I have a copy of the Opus, but I don't see any specific clues yet (but I haven't read the whole thing yet).  One observation is that there are not many recent photos of MJ from Invincible through TII eras.  TONS of J5, Thriller, and Bad-era pics.  To me this could possibly connect to the Liberian Girl/Come Together old/new photos?

Other Odd Things / Re: What are the differences/Michael & Brittany
« on: December 20, 2009, 11:03:04 PM »
I think the thread that she died was moved to Media>Other News.

Here's one difference between Ms Murphy and MJ:

FROM CNN:
"Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. PT Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Sally Stewart told CNN Radio."

I believe a hospital spokesperson provided an official statement before her personal spokesperson.  Can anyone confirm the timing of the announcements?  I think Jermaine being the first to announce the MJ situation is not the usual.... and today's tragedy further shines a light on everything that was different.

Michael Jackson News / Re: Brittany Murphy dies of heart attack

So very sad.  She was so beautiful, talented, and young.

I first read the news on my friends' Facebook status updates.  I immediately went to CNN.com and did not see any news.  Then, in a June 25th flashback, I went to TMZ and saw the news.  Very interesting that they were first to report again.

Very interesting; I had not thought of this.... thanks for posting!  Could be the logical explanation for the Jacksons being in the spotlight right now, and why the reality show had been planned for THIS moment.

Hi

I heard MJ's will is going to be revoked on 28 Jan 2010. Not sure if it has been discussed here?

Ideas & Suggestion for MJDHI / Condensing subforums?
« on: December 17, 2009, 01:22:14 PM »
I wondered if anyone else was having a hard time keeping up with everything with so many subforums?

I just learned about the way to view only new posts, so that may help...

Perhaps the various "theories" subforums could be condensed into one general "theories" category?  Just a thought.... but otherwise I love this place and am finding it a great resource in investigating the hoax!  :)

I finally caught up with reading this whole thread.

I personally do not believe Michael...L.O.V.E. is the real Michael Jackson.

Firstly, I don't think the username is what Michael would pick.  I think he would pick something more of a code since he liked codes and nicknames, like the Appleheads etc.  Also I feel like the L.O.V.E. thing he said in This Is It has become sort of a "slogan" associated with MJ and I'm not sure this is something he would choose himself.  I really like the L.O.V.E. sentiment and he does say it a few times in TII, but I think it's other people (fans, etc.) who have turned it into a "thing."
2) I think it's possible for a fan to know his language pattern.  Saying things like "I love you.  I really do" is what he would say, but I think that's an easy pattern -- he even says it at the O2 press conference (or his double does, lol).  I think many of us could write statements that sound like MJ if we tried.
3) I don't think he would actually reveal any timeframe information about his return.

Just my thoughts; of course I'm interested in all opinions.

Thanks Diana for posting this here.  I read your blog entry this morning and have been thinking about it wondering what others have to say.  Looking forward to everyone's comments here!  He is definitely a person we should all be watching and investigating.
