'She was convinced her and Prince were full siblings': Paris Jackson's suicide attempt came days after learning that she does not share same biological father as brother

The truth regarding her paternity has always been surrounded in rumours and theories.
But, Paris Jackson's recent suicide attempt happened just days after she was told that she does not share the same biological father as her older brother, Prince.
The 15-year-old had previously been convinced that she was Prince's 'full' sister.

She believed that Debbie Rowe and an unnamed man were their biological parents.

A family friend told The Sun newspaper: 'Paris has always wanted to believe Michael was her dad, but was aware that wasn't really the case.
'She was convinced her and Prince were full siblings. She always idolised him. Hearing that she wasn't started a downward spiral.'


Paris was told the news to prepare her for what could be released in an upcoming court case.
The Jackson family are currently suing concert firm AEG in a £26billion court battle, who they say is to blame for Michael's death.
However, after learning the truth, many rows broke out between Paris and Prince, 16.


Then, over the days that followed, Paris spiralled into depression and was admitted to the UCLA medical centre hospital after cutting her wrists and taking an overdose of pills on 5 June.
Whilst the teen is said to be feeling better, she could remain in hospital for another month.
Afterwards, she will move back in her mother Debbie, to her ranch in California.

The wrongful death trial, which could last several months, is expected to include testimony from Jackson's mother and his two oldest children, Prince and Paris.
Putnam questioned why their lawyers would call them to testify, suggesting it was "for the emotional response."

"I can't understand why bringing them to the stand has anything to do with whether or not Dr. Conrad Murray was hired by AEG or hired negligently. But perhaps they're bringing them to the stand for different reasons."

He bristled at the allegation, made by the Jackson lawyers in a court filing last month, that he was "behaving aggressively and erratically" in his questioning of Prince Jackson.
"We went out of our way to ensure we did precisely not that," Putnam said. "They may want to try to make the world believe that AEG Live is doing something inappropriate as to these children, but I'd ask the world to pause for a moment and look at what's actually happening here. They're the ones who are bringing this lawsuit and they're the ones who are saying they're going to put these children on the stand, something that I'm relatively certain their father would never, ever want to occur."

Jackson lawyers, he said, "are trying to sensationalize things that never happened" with their allegations about the way Prince was treated, he said. "I think in that scenario they're going to try to whip things up into a frenzy in the hopes that justice will not be served."

The only way AEG Live can lose the case, he said, "would be on an emotional basis outside of the facts."

You recently filed an application with the U.S. administration to take the pseudonym "Jacksun." Why? (Sigh) . I went to see a lawyer in a tiny little office and I filled out a form ... Jacksun is a reference to the sun (note: "sun") because I love being in the sun - as Michael loved it too. But in the business, I keep the name of Jackson. What does your family think? Nothing. Only the media talked about.

I don't see the point of going to all that trouble to make such a small change to a surname, just to use in his 'personal' life.  :icon_e_confused: To me it makes no sense at all. If his answer is true then I am sorry, but he's completely nuts!  :WTF:
